We're still talking Italian this week. Good Good Garlic Bread is the perfect thing to go with any pasta dish, soup or salad. Good enough to stand on its own as an appetizer with sauce on the side.
My favorite way to eat vegetables is baked with loads of chocolate. Anybody else?
Chocolate zucchini muffin recipe in bio.

New shabby chic printed plates with various classical patterns and 23k gold rims. Depending on the interest, I am thinking of doing limited pre-orders of plates before Christmas...? Will have a selection for the upcoming shop restock, date still TBA. 7.5 inches in diameter; we use that size for our family meals. These plates are a nice break from the wheel for my wrists, and I quite enjoyed making them!
Would you have this for dinner?
My stomach is growling
Are you really hungry?
Those of you that follow me know I am a food photographer and food stylist. Did you know that’s not all I do?😲
To say I’ve worn many hats 👒 in my working life is an understatement! .
My first job, as an accountant at one of the worlds biggest accounting firms, soon evolved into managing the 2 main IT systems that business used. I was then headhunted by one of the companies that made those software systems and my career evolved into a consultant/ developer/ project manager .
Other jobs followed wearing more 🎩 - Product manager...account manager...marketing manager...sales manager...business unit manager. You name it, I did it 😃
I’m not sure if it’s the thrill of constantly learning new things or the fact I get bored easily, but I loved all the new roles I was getting to experience
Now I'm in my dream 'hat' - food photographer and food stylist 😍but to my clients I’m more than that. .
I’m passionate about helping my clients not only succeed, but flourish in this ever changing world. On a typical day I’m supporting my clients in the areas of marketing, product development, brand consulting, social media, and web development.
I ❤ that I can support my clients in all of these different areas drawing on my previous experience. It’s what makes working with me unique to working with anyone else.
But as much as I love to wear many hats I know there are things that others are better at than me. That’s where my fantastic team comes in! Nair👧 , social media whiz and all round lovely person works her magic on clients social media presence. And Anne 👩, our resident brand stylist and graphic design maestro creates beautiful cohesive work that elevates brands to the next level 💕
I love what I do, and I love that I get to work with so many amazing and unique businesses who are just as passionate about what they do as I am!

Lately, I’ve been in a bit of a cooking slump. I haven’t been sleeping much these last few months, and it’s finally catching up to me. The problem is that the highs of my circadian rhythm are totally out of sync with the hours during which I need to be awake and fully functional. When it’s time to turn in, I start to perk up and get the urge to do all of the things that I don’t have time to do during the day, like write, read, work on my creative projects or catch up on tv shows. I stay up until like 2 am, so I end up being a useless zombie at work. And by the time I come home, I'm totally wiped out from trying to stay awake all day!
Speaking of tv shows, have y’all been watching the latest season of Insecure??? Dude, the Coachella episode was hella funny! I can’t get enough of Issa’s friend Kelli - she’s such a riot! “I piss myself. Don’t look at me. Remember me different.” 😂😂😂
What have y’all been watching lately?

Zainteresowanych odsylam do strony, polecam spróbować, bo warto👌👌👌
W skrócie ciasto formowane jest w rulon, porcjowane i obtaczane w bułce tartej. Ciekawy przepis, no i pyszne bułeczki😋

Day Night Sunset timelapse🇹🇷
I have been up on my feet for over two hours now, running from one corner of the kitchen to upstairs to bring the plates and bowls from my prop cupboard to sorting the ingredients from the spice cupboard to carefully styling the ingredients for the food shoot. Amidst all the cooking, styling and shooting, I sat down for a minute and took a deep breath before looking around me. There were at least a dozen jars with different ingredients, dry red chillies soaked in a bowl of hot water, pile of dishes in the sink and around me, spices and little sauce spilled all over the floor, napkins carelessly hanging on the dining chair, spices and springs of fresh herbs spilled over the floor and every inch of the kitchen island covered with pans, ingredients, jars of spices and what not.
What a total chaos…
Why do I put myself through all these hardship in the name of food blogging? Is it for monetary gain? Not really, if you can call little pennies I earn through ads. Is it for fame? I almost fell laughing out so loud whenever I hear that word! Is it to gain more followers? Not one to run behind the numbers, so that too gets striked. So what is it that keeps me going even after 12 years of blogging then??? Pat came the answer and the only reason is I really love and enjoy this cooking, styling and photographing the food and am passionate about simplifying and sharing the recipes with those who love good food! That’s a good enough reason for sure…
Now only if I enjoyed cleaning the mess half as much as I love cooking! Leaving with an ingredient shot of the food I am cooking tomorrow. It’s spicy, flavourful and oh so amazing…

I’m a big sucker for anything with lemon zest and these lemon bliss balls are no exception! Recipe from the amazing @wholefoodsimply
Second challenge for #eatcaptureshare
is again about composition - this time a “snake”. I often use this kind of composition as I love the way you can tell a story with the ingredients creeping up the side of the frame. Join the “dots”, or the elements, to form a snake - you see it? It’s this movement that can make an image dynamic and bring it to life.
Oh so I had LOADS of questions come through on my stories q&a, too many to answer in one day! So I screen shot them before they all disappeared and will endeavour to answer them over the next few days. One question was, “do you eat all the food that you shoot?” Easy to answer that one. Yes! Or I share it out amongst family. And the chooks get lots of scraps from prep too! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Sweet Potato Amaranth Bites
During a beach stay a few months ago, I ordered sweet potato mash with my meal and got it with CINNAMON 😱 and it was soooo delicious! Never would have thought to top sweet potato mash with cinnamon - genius! So I came up with the idea to mix the mash with more ingredients and form little balls! YUUUUMM!
