Results are in! It was a happy visit with surgeon. He was impressed with my range of motion and healing after only 6 months and gave me the go ahead to train as heavy as I want and to go 100% on the table! 💪🤛 I plan to come back stronger than before!

I took the seated row machine and used it for BICEP CURLS and FOREARM CURLS 💣⚡️ 💪🏾 Supersetting all 3
1st Move: Engages the short head of the BICEP 💪🏾 2nd Move: Engages the long BICEP muscle (full extension) 3rd move: Focuses on FOREARMS (Ladies this will make your forearms larger so if you don’t wanna be looking like Popeye reduce the weight and rep it out, Nothing wrong with TONED forearms but big and bulky is another thing 🤷🏾♂️)
PR: 3 singles of 185 x 1 on OHP - raw. The first time it was quite light I just kept getting cut off by the camera so this was my 3rd single after my regular shoulder work. Most Ive ever done is 170 x 7. I estimate my max at 210, 225 should be attainable when I start bulking again.
165 x 5 - 1 set
145 x 8 - 3 sets
185 x 1 - 3 sets
Been a long time since I posted to this account. So busy with school and work I only hit the gym 2-3 times per week. While its not amazing for gains its great for strength because my body can recover.
This is the first ever true bodybuilding exercise I learned almost three years ago when I first started lifting weights. I was very fortunate to have so many people show me all the tricks and techniques. This exercise targets your traps like no other exercise can! I have some spots open on the weekend message me so we can schedule your assessment!
This was a bad ass forearm finisher! Shout out to @ericmomyer
for this exercise. Go follow him for more exercises and training programs if you need some new content.
Exercise included 135 on the barbell and just get it going as fast as possible but still squeezing hard with every turn for 60 seconds each way. I only made 60 seconds on the first set each way so if the weight is too much don't be afraid to drop it and control it. 💪🏾💪🏾
BFR spider curls for a sick pump and ridiculous contractions.. these are awesome conventionally, hammer, and reversed 🔥 does anyone have any recommendations for BFR bands?
Someone amazon prime me some forearms right quick cuz mine are broked. ("forearms" was autocorrected to "firearms" ...that would be a silly prime order).
2nd wod from yesterday's comp:
40 synchro kbs (70/53 lbs)
Hang Snatches / Overhead Hold (115/75)
Toes To Bar / Hang Out 🐒
40 more terribly painful synchro kbs 🔥🙅♀️.
Idk how I didn't accidentally launch that KB at @nettles44
's face... Cuz my left hand stopped working with like 20 swings left 😂🤷 but I channeled my inner Jillian and diiivveedddd!!! #itsadeepburn #ididlike1000
Thank God @rxchiro
put them back together for the last wod.. of all the pullups, chest to bars, and muscle ups 😆😆
This picture has a lot of meaning and is very powerful! -
Everyone and I mean EVERYONE has something to give. Whether you’re in the fitness industry, fashion industry or whatever you may do you have value to give to someone. Yes some people may be more advanced in your sector than you are but surely you excel in something that they don’t? -
If no one was more knowledgable than us then how would we push ourselves. Everyone is a genius at something and everyone can learn from everyone. No one should ever be made to feel like the fish in this picture. After all we all want to be the best that we can be at whatever we put our minds to.

My current thoughts on tradition vs innovation in yoga!
This is an intense backbend and an intense forward fold: I love the relief that comes with doing these asanas consecutively, which is how they are sequenced in the ashtanga primary series. Well, almost! I took some liberties and chose #dwipadaviparitadandasana
Instead of wheel, and went straight to #halasana
without going through shoulderstand.
I’m always learning about how much intention and wisdom must have gone into building traditional sequences and optimizing them for the various goals and lifestyles prevalent at the time.
The human body has stayed the same, but the context that we live in has changed so much. I think it’s really beautiful that the evolution of yoga practice has diverged in so many different ways across the world.
In the past, a certain post-colonial mindset made me very averse to deviating from the old traditions of this lifestyle, because if I don’t preserve my culture, who will?
In the past year I come to believe that being overly focused with preservation limits the growth of both my personal practice and the natural evolution of yoga. A desire to preserve my culture does not mean I should refrain from experiencing other interpretations and experimenting on my own. It’s all about the balance man 🤙🏽
That being said, I think there’s a lot of wisdom in the saying that you can only break the rules once you’ve learned the rules!
