My annual Gal Pal White Ellie has easily become one of my favorite days to host. I make A L L the food and the girls are just responsible for bringing whatever they’re drinking. I spend days upon days shopping, prepping, cooking, and setting up – It’s quite the undertaking, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
This year I did a build-your-own-bruschetta board with A L L the toppings. Perfect for all the taste buds and all the dietary restrictions.

FLANK STEAK RECIPE:
1 ½ lbs flank steak
½ cup cooking oil
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon pepper
1. Combine marinade ingredients in shallow nonmetal container. Place steak in marinade turning to coat completely. Marinate covered in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
2. Remove steak from the marinate and place on grill over medium heat. Cook 5 minutes on each side so it is browned on the outside, but still medium-rare in the center (cook longer for more well done meat).
3. Remove from heat and let sit for 10minutes. Cut steak diagonally across the train into thin slices before serving.
