fun meal at Yonaka last night... Chef Ramir has shifted his 6 year old ala carte menu restaurant into 1 set 12 course kaiseki menu... kicked things off with this delicious uni cream filled puff potato on the bottom then topped with smoked hamachi then bafun uni... good bite!
Basque baked eggs and a and tender short rib in a mouthwatering sauce made with piquillos, morcilla, potatoes, ossau iraty. Irresistibly good. I guarantee you can’t put your spoon down after you take the first decadent bite of this magnificent dish. Yes, the plate was licked clean 😋😋😋 Happy brunching!

These fish cakes were a hit - decided to change up what i usually do with my dad’s freshly caught striped bass #thesemihealthyfoodie
My method: • Poach fish and let it cool
• Quickly saute the veg and let it cool - I used scallions, red peppers, orange peppers and jalepenos
• Flake fish into a bowl and add veg, parsley, chives, old bay, salt, garlic powder, panko, eggs and mix well • Form patties and pan fry
Homemade ricotta cavatelli! Super easy and super tasty 😊 To make it yourself, combine 2.5 cups flour, 1 pound ricotta cheese, and 2 large eggs to make a soft dough. Knead it until smooth then cover and let rest for 30 minutes. Roll the dough into a rope that is approximately 1/4 inch in diameter and cup into 1/2 inch pieces. Gently press and drag until it rolls over on itself, then transfer to a flour lines sheet and let dry for 30 minutes. Cook 6-8 minutes or until the cavatelli float and you’re done! Top off with @RaosHomemade
