2018 is almost over. Can you believe how fast the year has gone by? Another year of adventures, challenges, successes are coming to an end so let's talk about what this year has taught you. •
Every year I try to do something different in my life to keep it exciting, to keep it going. So these are the things that 2018 has taught me so far:
1. I am brave. I left my job of 2.5 years, packed all of our bags, moved cities without a set plan (or a new job) and made it work.
2. Self care is a must. I am one of those people who wants to look after everyone around me. I like people do well and be successful but what I didn't realise is that sometimes, whilst concentrating on other people's problems, I forgot myself.
3. Accept constructive criticism. This one isn't an easy one but it's so important to learn that most of the people are wanting to help you and if you accept their constructive criticism, you'll only get better.
4. Be kind, always. Kindness can help people who struggle, it can also make friends and build close relationships with your colleagues. You don't have to be mean to be successful and it's much more fun to do a great job when everyone supports you rather than hates you. #enroutewithakvile
