A perfect match at our breakfast bar for a quick brunch platter celebrating the beauty of a@fourneebakery
Miche bread 🌟🥖 Magnificent with a bit of Brie , sliced apples 🍏 🍎 and honey 🍯 sometimes on the side! So grateful for a local bakery that brings a slice of heaven to our table! Sundays start with brunch and ends early with an evening charcuterie that always includes a nice breaking of the best bread 🍞 The key to moderation and balance is adding bits of bread with little bites of fruit , beans , and vegetables . Today we are finishing off the radishes and our cooked ceci beans that creat a raw hummus vibe. Mixing and matching little healthy and happy appetizer plates is like painting a pretty picture for oneself then sharing with family and friends at the holiday table . Sometimes the most simple is the best holiday sampler of all , especially when created from one’s favorite foods⭐️#italianfoodbloggers #bakery #lifestyleblogger #shoplocal #photography #francophile #cheese #brie #marthastewart #healthylifestyle #wellness
🇫🇷 Tout les temps, il y a des choses que tu dois essayer - tu ne sais jamais quand il y a quelquel chose de nouveau autour le coin. • 🇺🇸 All the time, there are things you just have to try - you never know when there’s something new around the corner. ✨

Mahi Binebine (1959) is a Moroccan painter and novelist born in Marrakech. Binebine has written six novels which have been translated into various languages.
Born in Marrakech, Mahi moved in Paris in 1980 to study and teach mathematics, for eight years whilst writing and painting.
He wrote several novels, which have been translated into a dozen languages. He emigrated to New York from 1994 to 1999. His paintings are part of the permanent collection at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. He returned to Marrakech in 2002 where he currently lives and works.
In "Mamaya’s Last Journey" the author is drawing on an episode from his own family history. His brother Aziz was one of the young officers who had taken part in the failed military coup against King Hassan II in 1971. For 18 years, he was imprisoned in the desert camp of Tazmamart, under conditions of unimaginable and almost indescribable brutality. Of the 56 prisoners, only half survived; among them, Aziz Binebine. Mahi Binebine's fellow writer Tahar Ben Jellountook this story as the basis for his novel This Blinding Absence of Light.
Welcome to Paradise, the English translation of Cannibales (by Lulu Norman) was short-listed for the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize in 2004. Horses of God, also translated by Lulu Norman (original: Les étoiles de Sidi Moumen), was shortlisted for the Best Translated Book Award in 2014 and was made into a feature film in Morocco in 2011, called Horses of God, directed by Nabil Ayouch and selected for the official Moroccan entry for best foreign language film for the 2013 Oscars.

Another beautiful product from Bigallet. The Thym or Thyme Liqueur is a taste of Provence bottled up due to its slow maceration process. Highly aromatic and fresh, this is an excellent liqueur to drink on its own as a digestif. We’ve played around with it a bit in the restaurant and it will add nice herbal touch to any cocktail. I have been told it goes well over ice cream. Will have to give that a try soon.
Exterior of Malmaison done in a Empire and Renaissance style. Beautiful and simplistic compared to other French chateaux of the time.
