Stargazing from the largest sand island in the world 🌠
I have no idea what the bright one or the stardust is, but it was very clear to the blue eye..
This area, known as North White Cliffs is the site of Fraser Island’s only timber sawmill. Hepburn McKenzie purchased the timber rights to 4000 acres of land at North White Cliffs in 1918. His company immediately started building a sawmill, deepwater jetty, timber tramway and a village.
The jetty was built on piles of rough-hewn Fraser Island Satinay. Today the remains of the structure can be seen stretching towards the natural deep water anchorage just offshore.
Today, you can see what remains of the jetty on the western beach.

Captured storm rolling in as we’re killing it across the beach on Fraser Island in our car with a dying alternator praying we get to the barge before it dies and we’re stuck on a beach with huge tides and 2 kids... 😬
Well we made it back to mainland. The car needs a new alternator and we need another trip back to Fraser...😕⛈
The view from our front door on Fraser Island, it doesn't get any better #fraserisland
This is how we look at our food every day! ⠀
With the spotlight firmly on local produce and an ever-changing menu full of inventive flavours, creating memorable dining experiences is our passion.
S T O R M Y D A Y S 🌧 || Turns out if you look at a stormy day on the right angle it doesn’t look that bad after all • LIFE - there’s always a positive to look at, you just need to look at things from the right angle •
Before we all took the plunge to swim with the whales. Despite the smile I felt like I could have either spewed, 💩'd or cried I was that nervous 😂!
