🤗If you need a hug, ask for one.
🚽If you need to pee, go to the bathroom. Holding it too long releases the toxins it’s trying to flush out back into
Your body and weakens your bladder.
🍶Thirsty? Drink, stay hydrated for clarity.
💼Is your job killing you or not speaking to your soul and heart? Find ways to make it better or start looking for something that fills you up. It might sound scary... but follow your gut
👉🏼We often get ourselves SO BUSY that we deny our own basic needs. Just like the SIMS game... if you don’t fulfill their needs in time they get sad or angry or fall asleep... guess what we are THE SAME. ha!
🌙 We stay up when we are tired to get “just one more thing” done. (Guilty! ✋🏼), we are so distracted by the kids that we feed them and love them
And clean up and on & on, but ignore ourselves. SHOW them how to care for themselves! What a great gift!! 🎁
✨ALL of these things hurt our body, mind & spirit. We are saying I don’t think I’m as important as this [insert what’s keeping you]... when in reality... our quality of service, and love, and presence goes down when we push ourselves to the back burner.
✨Tune into your body this week, LISTEN 👂 to what it’s saying it NEEDS... you’ll actually be more productive and present in your life if you do. 🥰

Pleased to say that the week is ending a bit better than it began. Jeez Louise it’s all been a bit bonkers in our house, everything has felt fragile and scary and emotions have been running sky bloody high. @this_is_dave_today
and I have been soooooo disconnected which obviously makes everything feel even more hopeless. It felt as though we’d forgotten how to communicate..how to truly hear what the other was saying. Both so bloody empty that we’ve had nothing left to give. So we enlisted some help today (thank you @luciahermida86
❤️) and took ourselves off. Cinema first - Bohemian Rhapsody (amazing) then a roast and wine at our local. Got home to the kids still running amok but I handled it better than I have done every other night this week - nerves a tad less jangly and shredded then they were this morning. STILL waiting to step into the Christmas zone and exhale a bit but I’m almost there. Sending a huge virtual hug to anyone else whose been feeling like they’re just about hanging on.. ❤️❤️... here’s to a happy, frazzled free week ahead xxxx

This past week I just haven’t been able to get things together in my mom brain. The other day I pulled out this blanket scarf to wear while I shot my parent’s Christmas pics. When I put it on I felt like I couldn’t breathe (anyone else feel that way with blanket scarves?!) so I got the scissors out and cut it in half. I wasn’t thinking though and forgot to cut it in a triangle shape so I was left with a thick “regular” scarf. .
Several times this week I’ve walked into a room to do something then my mind went completely blank and I couldn’t remember what I was supposed to be doing. Thankfully I’m a mom so I can blame my kids for my frazzled mind. Do any of you moms out there experience this?

Yeah... Some days it feels easy. It seems like I’ve got this and my kids are super sweet and are exactly how I imagined they’d be. Other days they’re smiling one second, screaming bloody murder the next and I feel like a frazzled tug o’ war rope being stretched all over my house, feeling like screaming myself.
Just had to share this because it’s so true. We can act like we’re doing it right, but we’re all really just winging it, hoping we keep them alive.

If you’re feeling a bit more festive frazzle than seasonal sparkle, here are a few tips for managing your time as holiday season approaches.
Little and often! From wrapping presents to domestic chores, break prep down into bite-sized chunks. Look for little pockets of time and if something takes less than two minutes, just do it!
When looking through your festive to-do list, identify the essential and eliminate the rest. Accepting help and delegating as much as possible can really lighten the load. From grocery deliveries to outsourcing the ironing, anything that buys you a bit of time might be worth considering.
List like you’ve never listed before! Brain-dumping constantly can be a great way to reduce overwhelm and keep you on track with all your Crimbo activities and gift lists.

"The liver handles a myriad of roles everyday- it is essential that you support your liver function. In doing so you will improve your health, energy and vitality." When the liver is overloaded, excess toxins can be directed to the skin for removal and as these toxins are being eliminated, the skin can become itchy (which is an indication of your liver becoming overburdened). When you are feeling tired and fatigued, it could be that the liver is not able to perform all of it's processes in the correct manner.
So how do you know if your liver is overloaded?
Tick the symptoms that relate to you: ✅have bloated or full feeling one hour after a meal
✅fatty foods cause indigestion and/or nausea
✅sensitive to smells, perfumes and other fragrances ✅pain under ribs especially on right side ✅unexplained itchy skin
