Abbreviations are often not worthwhile. And certainly not when preparing a Ratatouille - yesterday I prepared a Ratatoulle for a group of friends.
I love this provancial dish in summer, because it tastes warm and the next day cold even better. The secret ✨✨of a good Ratatouille made out of
is, after my french grandmother, the quality of the products, loand time. So when I cook a ratatouille, it's only possible with french music and a lot of muses. First I cut all the vegetables into small pieces and then I fry each variety separately for 5 minutes. Herbs such as rosemary and thyme and 2-3 bay leaves are also included.
I let all the vegetables simmer together at low temperature for another 30 minutes. The trick: now the ratatouille goes back into the oven for another 30 minutes. There the remaining liquid evaporates and the vegetables form an incomprehensible symbiosis, the oven variant comes from one of my favourite chefs, @ottolenghi
. It taste like a French Love song. 💕We had thyme polenta with it and some really good time.

這兩天她跟我分享了很多法國小知識，例如她說她居住的地方打招呼時會「錫錫」(faire la bise)三次，又會教我不同品種的車厘子的用途🍒
Staying true to our roots, our grilled cheese has become a Fromage Fort Baguette. It's basically a fresh French baguette with brie, Swiss, white cheddar; served with fig jam.
The word crêpe is French for pancake and is derived from the Latin crispus meaning “curled”. Crêpes originated inBrittany (fr. Breton), in the northwest region of France, which lies between the English Channel to the north and the Bay of Biscay to the south.
While crêpes originate from France, their consumption is nowadays widespread in France and is considered the national dish.
Crêpes are popular not only throughout France but elsewhere in Europe where the pancakes go by other names and adaptations, including Italian crespelle, Hungarian palacsintas, Jewish blintzes, Scandinavian plattars, Russian blini, and Greek kreps.
Creme Brûlée 😋💕 Crème Brûlée is a delicious rich custard base dessert is topped with a contrasting layer of hard caramel.
England, Spain and France all claim to have created the first version of crème brlûée. Food historians generally agree however, that custards were popular in the Middle Ages and recipes for custards circulated widely through Europe. Custards were so popular that it's almost impossible to trace specific roots as to where it began.
Most people assume that crème brlûée is a French dish. After all, the name is French. However, the name crème brlûée didn't become popular until the 19th century.
