Stubaier Höhenweg FKT 16:50 hours with @bennibublak
It was one of those days, i will always remember!
At 3:14 we started in Neders, next to the Pinnistal.
So the first orientation point was Innsbrucker Hütte which we reached after 1:45 hours. In the dark we could see some people going to the top of Habicht.
But we had to go further to Bremer and Nürnberger Hütte - probably the most technical part of the Stubaier Höhenweg. We gained ground very quickly. After 7:55 hours we reached Dresdner Hütte, where Benni and Hannes let some food the day before.
After a 20 minutes break we moved again - Neue Regenburger Hütte and Franz Senn Hütte.
From there i had really really bad three hours staggering to the last hut Starkenburger Hütte.
Benni and Hannes could have done this part faster, but they showed real sportsmanship and helped me to get through this horrible hours and finish it together!
When we reached Starkenburger Hütte the clock showed exactly 16:00 hours. So we knew that a finish below 17 hours could be possible - so we pushed the last kilometer as hard as possible and came back to Neders at 20:04.
So we set a new FKT and could be more than one hour faster than the old record time from Christian Gleirscher (17:57 | 2009)
What a day!
