Finally got to try @royalitcafe in #Dallas and got the popcorn chicken. It definitely lived up to the hype. A little on the salty side just how popcorn chicken should be, and the fried basil was a really nice touch. It wasn’t too dry either. We got one combo and one entree, since the combo doesn’t come with a drink (just white rice and a salad with dressing). The salad was just chopped lettuce, though. I asked for spicy mayo and it was so good. Really needed a walk after this so we went to Northpark Mall next door. Can’t wait to try the boba and pad thai next time. 😁
dinner tonight is this asian fusion inspired dish - crispy fried tofu in a sprouted quinoa and dukkah crumb made with @springwholefoods bread, edamame noodles from @ecoorganics_au , spinach, cabbage , fresh herbs & a spicy sesame and tamari dressing 🌶 🔥🍜 who wants the recipe on the blog!?
Best value for money at KFC has to be the rice-box, beautiful tender chicken strips, decent salad and spicy rice, it’s actually not to unhealthy.
I mean I would ask for grilled chicken but as the fast food chain is called Kentucky ‘FRIED’ chicken I don’t think I’d be successful 😂
Oh yeah these Nashville hot strips were reasonably mediocre, not really worth the price, look nice though!
Best tempura ever. My second time there.
Late summer brings with it the best in vegetables and the early season matsutake mushrooms.
They give tourists like me the choice seats in the house, with a view of the chef at work. Love!
