These front lever raises absolutely destroy your back. It’s one of the exercises that definitely helped me a lot in achieving the front lever and I think anyone training the front lever should do any progression of these raises.
It’s a great workout for your entire body especially your upper back and core and it gets your body used to holding that front lever position while maintaining straight arms and using your lats to pull your body up horizontally.
