Baby’s breakfast aimed to help ease some tummy troubles for our little one. Graham crackers, pears, prunes, shredded cheese (not the best choice, but it’s her favorite so...compromise), veggies and fruit pouch of broccoli, kale and apple and a homemade raspberry, almond milk, pineapple smoothie. Look to incorporate more “P” foods to help ease constipation, such as peas, pumpkin, pears, etc. as well as whole grains for more fiber and lots of liquids (water, apple juice, pear juice). A very berry breakfast. The last couple of weeks have been pretty stressful due to hurricane Florence and some other life changes. I have not stuck to my diet very well and I can feel it in my hands/fingers. The tightness and swelling has crept up again. As important as it is to eat healthy with RA, it’s EQUALLY important to avoid the bad foods too. If we don’t, we keep feeding the pathogens and viruses in the body that cause the inflammation. The foods I choose to eat always affect my pain levels, so it’s back to simple eating again for me. 🍎🍓🍌🥑🍅 Banana, blueberries and almond butter smoothie, strawberries and piece of @paschachocolate
