Do you have any tricks for cold season? Jase and Bri both have chest cold so I made them chicken soup. Recipe below #coldseason
2 whole chicken thighs, bone in
1 whole garlic bulb, broken up and skin removed and coarsely chopped
3-4 inch chuck of ginger
1 organic lemon juiced
Hand full of fresh poultry seasonings
1 onion finely chopped
1/8 tsp cayenne (if not lectin free)
2 litters of water or more simmer for 2 hours, take out chicken and remove meat, chop and put back into soup. Add a bunch of veggies and cook for another 20 minutes.
Zoodles are the best noodles 🥒💚
The key to perfect, not mushy zoodles is to sauté them for LITERALLY 30 seconds ⏰ That’s all people! Any longer and they will be mushy! My boyfriend hated zoodles until I made them this way.
For this dish I heated a couple tablespoons of butter and coconut oil, then added chopped garlic and sautéed it until I could smell the garlic. Then I dropped in my zoodles and sautéed for 30 seconds. Who says you don’t have time to eat low carb?? 😜
Whew! Back in fat-burning mode after FUN college football weekend with my Dear Husband visiting elder-son in Ft Collins. The 2-serving Silver Bullet contributed to only 10 of the excess carbs.
