📰| Fulham Keen on January move for Gary Cahill. According to Sky Sports, former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri is keen on bringing Blues defender Gary Cahill to Fulham next month. Cahill, who made the move to Stamford Bridge from Bolton Wanderers in 2012, has featured just seven times this season under Maurizio Sarri, with just one of them coming in the Premier League. Meanwhile, despite spending over £100 million in the summer, Fulham have struggled defensively so far, conceding 40 goals in just 16 league games. New Whites boss Ranieri is keen on bolstering his defensive options next month and has reportedly made the England international a top target in Fulham’s bid to avoid the drop. West Ham and Southampton are also keeping tabs on Cahill’s situation, with the 32-year-old turning out just under 300 times for the Blues during his six-year stay. It remains unclear as to whether the Blues will let Cahill leave on a loan or a permanent deal, however, if the centre-back is concerned about leaving London, Fulham may well be one of the favourites to secure his services next month.
