Strength doesn't some from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought but you couldn't.
to know unknown interesting facts and to help your dear ones to enhance team spirit with a vision of empowering.
Did you know....🤔 Your stomach has two different kinds of receptors. One measures the elasticity, and the other measures the nutritional value. It takes activating both sets and about 20 minutes to tell your brain you’re no longer hungry.
If your goal is weight loss, try starting each meal with a glass of water and eating slower.

FUN FACT FRIDAY! Kinda... I worked until 10pm last night, so I completely forgot to post yesterday. But I remembered to take the picture! So today’s fun fact is, if you shop at Family Fare, get a YES card. 1. It can save you money, cause half the time there’s a different price with the yes card. 2. You can clip coupons at the Kiosk! You just scan your card, and clip whatever coupons you want. And 3. Which is my favorite, there is a FREE item every week. I ALWAYS make sure to get my free item every week. Even if I don’t think I’ll eat it, or use it, I’ll give it to someone who will.
There’s also different clubs with the yes card. Like baby club and pet club, so if you spend so much within those clubs, you can get free gift cards! .

Oh my! I totally missed my Friday fun fact! This season has always been so busy for me, between work and family functions.
But a little about me, I LOVE Christmas, literally all things Christmas. I love the time of year, the spending time with family, baking and all the rest that comes with it. I’m a bit of a Christmas freak, two of my favourite things is going to my moms and having a non traditional Christmas meal, and at my dads we get the whole family (there’s like 30 of us now) and it’s always so crazy but so fun! •Christmas can be hectic but remember to take time for yourself aswell, I’ve opened some more evening spaces for you guys to try to get some relaxation time in before the hustle of Christmas starts!•
Tell me your favourite holiday tradition/ something you like to do with your family! I’d love to hear from you guys 🙂 -Sam Adams RMT

...sure it’s a day late but who cares?!? #latergram
- my necklace is my team logo 🌳 I wear it all day, everyday! Love it annnnd can’t get it off anymore cuz it’s all tangled up 🤣😭
- every vehicle we own is in my name and until I started my business and work become mobile, I also was allllways the one to drive, no matter the distance!! For real. Like evvvvvery trip All. The. Time. My guy is so patient. He knew his time would come. Xoxo @mattyvkc #helovedbeingmycopilot
- we own 3 vehicles...have a two-car garage, and during our tidy seasons of life we can actually fit ALL THREE inside. 👍🏼
Lets see who really knows us.....Can you guess all three vehicles we, i mean I 😉, own?!
The holidays can cause large amounts of stress for people caring for elderly parents. In addition to caregiving duties, this time of year also adds shopping, holiday parties and family gatherings to your growing to-do list. Remember to take breaks and ask for help!
Fun Fact: and despite the help from the big man in red UK parents spend 1 billion pounds on presents (and they’d be happy to play with the boxes they come in!) #funfactfriday #babycollegefamily
A friend told me about Manuka Honey several months ago, regarding colds and sore throats. Well, tonight was my first opportunity to try some here at my sister’s house. I tasted a teaspoons worth, than added a teaspoon to my hot tea. Thought I’d share a bit of general info with you!
Manuka is a special type of honey that is made from bees that pollenate the Manuka plant, a shrub or small tree that’s native to New Zealand and eastern Australia. The Manuka flower produces a nectar that has unique compounds that aren’t as concentrated in other types of honey, including methylglyoxal, which is known for its antibacterial properties.
All genuine Manuka honey products have a Unique Manuka Factor (UMF) placed on the label, a trademark that rates the honey to signify the strength and quality of its signature properties, which is determined through independent testing.

New Moon in Sagittarius ♐️!! This artwork by Kelly Smith really spoke to me because I feel like she’s looking us straight in the eyes, as she speaks directly to our souls and higher selves. What are your dearest desires? Do you dare to risk everything to make them happen? This Sagittarius energy comes full force urging us to follow our desires and to take the risk(s). The time has come - we either surrender to this illogical side of ourselves or we are forever wishing we would’ve. She’s the wild, untamable parts of ourselves that we sometimes try to bathe, lather with lotion, and adorn in pretty clothes but at the end of day that’s not who she is or what makes her.. unique. For she’s a wonderer, an adventuress who needs no one. She’s the truth seeking, directly speaking, spontaneous part of ourselves that’s tired of roundabout ways. I would ask you to invite her in but she’s more of a let’s meet outside and be of the earth while we chat type of girl. Invoke her spirit and ask her to guide the parts of yourself that you’re too scared to let roam free. She will ease your worries of the logical mind as you take the steps to where you are most needed. No one ever gets ahead by living in their comfort zone. The world demands we live by their cultural means but in the end, it’s the balance of spirit & the logical side of ourselves that must find middle ground. You must have faith in yourself and in spirit. Without one or the other we are only a piece of ourselves, and that always comes with a price. A very wise eight year old once told me, “Even if you have no armor, no shield, no sword, this does not mean you have no courage!” Let’s all just repeat that for a second and let that sink in. You have everything you need within to make these scary changes that will ultimately align you with your highest vibration. So, do you dare to take the risk? (Shared from @angelguidryhairstylist

! Have you ever heard the myth that you can only access 10% of your brain? To go along with this, it is sometimes believed that those who are able to use more of their brain are capable of supernatural things. While it may be true that at times, only around 10% of our brain is used for thinking, we are capable of using almost every part of our brains. Different parts of are brains are responsible for different functions, as proven by various case studies.

FUN FACT FRIDAY
People ask me about my daughters name and how I picked it. A lot. Truth is...I found it on an internet search. I knew that I wanted a name that was a traditional name but also something that was unique. I didn’t want anything that was modern and trendy, spelled creatively or common. I spent days and days and days looking up names on baby name lists.
I eventually narrowed it down to 5 names and had to get my husband on board with one of them. Fortunately, I loved the name Emory and he agreed to it.
Here’s where it gets really interesting. When I shared my name choice with my sister, she told me that she was going to name her son Emory after her grandpa. She has a different dad than me and I had no idea that her grandpas first name is actually Emory because he has always gone by what is apparently his middle name.
Emory is actually traditionally a male name common in Europe. .
So, luckily for me, her husband named her son and my husband liked the name too.
was the #premier
of Scottish-American composer Thea Musgrave’s opera, “A Christmas Carol.” Musgrave is a masterful female composer who is still alive and thriving!
This timeless tale of Christmas features the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his last chance to change his miserly and selfish life, except this version is entirely set to masterful, contemporary music as a two-act modern opera. The breakdown of this holiday favorite is written bellow. Happy Friday!
Thea Musgrave’s composition features a children’s chorus along with roles for:
-TWO SOPRANOS (the roles of “Fan & Starving Woman” and “Belle Fezziwigg & Laundress”)
-MEZZO-SOPRANO (“Mrs. Cratchit & Charwoman”)
-TENOR (“Bob Cratchit & Mann with Sniff Box”)
-BASS (“Portly Gentleman & Fat Man”)
-BARITONE (“Fred & Man with red face”)
-ACTOR (spoken roles of “Marley’s Ghost & Joe”)
-THREE CHILDREN (roles of “Paper Boy,” “Mollie Fezziwigg,” and “Tiny Tim”)

Having your dog come back when called is one of the greatest skills we can teach our dogs, but so many dogs struggle when there are distractions around.
This is because, so often when we call our dogs it’s to take them away from all the action.
We call our dogs to come inside, we call our dogs to leave. We’ve built this pattern for our dogs that when we call them all the fun ends.
We’ve been working with Nile and his family for a while now and while he had a lot of obedience when we first started, he did suffer from some selective hearing.
His owners have been hard at work to show him that they’re actually the most exciting part of his world!
Here we are practicing relay-recalls with him where he gets to race back and forth between his owners, even with the neighbors having their landscapers go to work, something that used to drive Nile nuts!
Way to go guys!
Friday Fun Fact: Did you know that Burnaby Lake is represented on Burnaby’s flag by one of the discs on the eagle’s wing? (The other is Deer Lake.) FUN FACT FRIDAY:
This "Pink Drink" was developed by an endocrinologist out of Ohio State University to help balance blood sugar.
FACT: EVERYONE needs balanced blood sugar!
You may not even realize the far-reaching effects of having blood sugar levels that constantly dip and spike. So when we say that this drink has the ability to help balance your blood sugar, what we are really saying is that it helps decrease: fat storage, sugar cravings, mood swings, brain fog, fatigue, and the amount of insulin and cortisol that your body is having to produce.
That is powerful! That is why people are feeling better and losing weight. It's not a magical diet drink by any means, it's simply addressing your body's basic need of blood sugar stability.
We have 2 different, yet similar pink drinks. Not sure which one could benefit you? I'll help you out.
P.S Both taste so yummy!
Fun Fact Friday!! 🦚#Coriander
! This amazing seed from the coriander plant (leaves of which are #cilantro
) is really good for you. 🦚Coriander is mostly composed of volatile oils, 2 of which (linalool and geranyl acetate) are powerful #antioxidants
. It is these compounds that are thought to be so healthful. Coriander has been used for thousands of years to treat digestive issues but recent studies have shown it to be helpful in treating a variety of digestive complaints such as constipation and IBS. Interestingly, other studies have shown it to be helpful in lowering bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and it’s essential oil to be useful in the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis. 🦚According to #Ayurveda
, coriander is #tridoshic
, meaning all body types can benefit from incorporating this spice into the diet. It is primarily cooking in nature, but also has astringent and sweet qualities. As such, it can not only help promote a strong digestion (#healthygut
) but can help with purification of the blood. 🦚As always, the sum is greater than its parts. Coriander works best when incorporated with a variety of different spices, and a lot of plants (#prebiotics
). This post is for educational purposes only and is not to be used as medical advice. Please discuss any dietary changes with your personal physician.
