Getting back into fitness after having a baby can be so difficult. You get all excited to finally workout without the burden of pregnancy niggles and yet your body can feel completely different and foreign. This journey of growing a little one and bonding with her and my hubby through it all has really made me appreciate everything I've been through and what the future has in store. I hold health and the upkeep of the quality of life very near and dear to me. I want my little girl to grow up having the knowledge to take care of her body, soul and mind. Because health isn't just in the body. However it's a great place to start and I am so looking forward to going on hikes, enjoying nature and the great outdoors. Talon and I teaching her things as we go along. Working out with her and drinking yummy smoothies for a snack.
My mom and I both have a few health "setbacks" that can bring us down at times. If we don't keep it in check we can become very chronically fatigued, sick, gain weight or in my case drastically lose weight just to name a few. My mom has always taught me and been an amazing example to "just keep swimming". ;) She has not let anything she deals with stop her from reaching her goals. And I am determined to be the same example for my daughter.
My mom has also been a Beachbody coach since I was around 15. I have done this program before and I plan on doing it again after baby T is born. The main thing I love that Beachbody has to offer is the Shakeology. It is packed full with over 70 superfoods. It doesn't have nasty ingredients and it's so darn tasty. Some use it as a meal replacement. I could have it multiple times a day. If you don't get Beachbody for their fun workout programs this product is oh so worth it!! I'm not going to reveal the dress I'm wearing next Friday yet, but this one was one of the contenders. It was a little more snug than I wanted it to be, but I was able to zipper it completely and still breathe comfortably, and it's a Size 8!! SIZE 8!!! Just 18 months ago I was a Size 16/18. I would have never even gotten an 8 over my legs.
So excited for where we are going, and for all of the amazing people who are coming with us! Immensely grateful to all of YOU, especially my Herbalife family, not just for their support to help me lose weight, but for their encouragement and vision to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle FOR LIFE!

The young guns squad of 20 girls that attended classes throughout this past week (3/4 every day!!) have made us so unbelievably proud! We coached them, we challenged them, we definitely worked them hard, but just as this photo shows, they were constantly smiling (laughing or dancing) during their sessions and this warmed our hearts! We witnessed the formation of new friendships, perseverance and strength, integrity and the beginning of a teen community built through fitness. This has been a humbling experience and we can’t wait to start the Term 3 block on Wed 1st Aug, 415pm. Learn more via our website in the bio.
