FUNKY MONKEY CHALLENGE:
We've seen a bunch of "funky monkey" videos lately for some reason. Gymnastics coaches have been using these for decades as a "fun" strength exercise for kids. The problem is, most people do these really sloppily.
Done cleanly, these can be really beneficial for maintaining your tight shapes throughout various gymnastics movements. Clean them up!
Straight legs, heels together, butt tight will all make your gymnastics skills feel lighter. Like we say, #tighterislighter
Also, starting in a narrow chinup (undergrip) position makes you sway around less.
