We as one collective unit have to understand this. When we decide to commit our resources towards one focus objective it has the power to move mountains but first comes the agreement to which direction we should be moving in.
I totally understand protesting and talking but at some point we have to come to terms with the fact that the world operates off resources and the biggest being the flow of money.
It’s time we save, invest, build, and protect for the betterment of us, our children, and later generations.✌🏾❤️
Soul-Nourishing Sunday Gem
My children and I were in the car and we were waiting at the red light. I had just picked up my children from school. I glanced in the rear view mirror and I saw that my son was looking out his window.
“Mom,” he said, “How is it that someone can just walk by or drive by another human being who needs help?”
I looked out the window. I saw what my son was looking at: a homeless man with a sign asking for help and “God bless.”
As adults, we’ve all seen homeless people in our lives. But this is still new to my babies.
I paused. The light changed to green. It was time to go. We drove by the homeless man.
I don’t remember the exact words of the discussion we had that day in the car in our way home, but I do remember this:
“Mom,” my son said, “The next time we are at Costco can we get a big thing of water and a big thing of granola bars to hand out to people?”
That’s what we did.
We now have water bottles and granola bars in the car.
It may not solve the world’s problems. It may not end world hunger. It may not end homelessness. I understand that the issues are complex.
And yet, my son’s heart was clear: “I can’t walk by another human being who needs help when I can do something.”
I never want my children to stop noticing.
I always want my children to notice the person who often goes unnoticed, to notice how their hearts are moved with compassion by what they see, and to notice what they can do to make a difference - however small. .
Thank god for our children - the change makers who are rising.

What an awsome week it has been at the box.. you know Tuesdays team work out was hard when you got Lee, manners and Josh rolling on the floor after round 1🙈 giving everyone a taste of what we suffered with in wod3 at @wildwestfitness . Then the opens started 18.1 was naughty but well done to those that managed to get their first toes to bar and complete a number of reps for their workout, good effort off everyone, there's still time to sign up and get judged, you got until tomorrow..😃 finally a huge thank you to @anianegele for a awsome work shop on Saturday we enjoyed it and learnt alot😃
Same efforts again new week guys 😜
CrossFit Kids also took part in 18.1 this afternoon and smashed it #futuregeneration#crossfit#community#openweek
Here's to a fantastic first lesson about turning our #trashintotreasure
Todays lesson was all about the valuable resource we've grown to love and hate... Plastic!
We spoke about air conditioners made from 2L bottles, slowly melting plastics down to mold roof/floor tiles, the importance of #ecobricks in building, business opportunities with plastic recyling and much much more!

No matter what you are going through or have been through it’s not the end of your story.
Never allow yourself to focus on the negative for creating positive energy mixed with well thought out actions will pull you through any situation you are or will come in contact with.
Remember this.. “no matter how bad or how long it storms one truth you can hold on to is the sun will shine eventually. May not be today, tomorrow, or even next month but it will shine!” So hold your ground, keep your eyes forward, and persevere through!!✌🏾
4 armed officers right? Yet they want to put the responsibilities on the teacher? How much sense does this make? They don't even get paid enough to teach our #FutureGeneration now you want them to put their lives on the line?
