You don’t need justifications for looking, feeling, or being a certain way. How often do you follow up a sentence about yourself, with a justification? .
Self care social media free Sundays about to commence💗✅
Your body does not define you. Your weight does not define you. Your relationship status does not define you. You don’t need to use social media to justify you.
This week I’ve been taking all about bone health and internal wellness - yet still, so many ask how my gain is going, before asking how I am? How many times have you done this to someone openly working on a physically related goal? .
Someone asked me how much weight I was gaining or had I gained, before asking how I was? Have you asked a friend this, that has lost/gained weight? Before checking in with them?
This week, someone asked me what was wrong with me? There must be something wrong with me if I’m still single? How are you single? .
Hear me out, I know all of these things are conversational, and coming from places of love/curiosity but they actually impacted my mental health in the past which luckily I’ve overcome and now can joke about these things too. WAITING FOR GEORGE EZRA DUHHHH 🙋♀️ but, the smallest comment about someone’s physical self, even if it is a positive one “oh you’re looking great, you’ve lost weight?” Can be triggering and cause many internal battles to kickstart, especially when you don’t know their story. Just a little Sunday reminder to be careful with your words, to be careful with those you use towards your self, to keep searching for George Ezra (🤪), and to ask those around you today how they REALLY are doing ♥️
Meanwhile in Gainesville - I trained just x4 this week, x2 lower, x1 Upper, x1 Full. I want to train today but I’m not - I’m meeting the wonderful @blueberry_soul
