TRAIN THE WHOLE SHOULDER by @fbody_tips - If you want to build your shoulders, try to hit them from all angles to really make them pop. This means incorporating exercises for the front delt, medial delt, and rear delt. Now some exercises overlap, like the arnold press and military press, which both hit the front and medial delts pretty well, so I would highly recommend you incorporate those into your routine. - These are just some exercises you can use. Your workout routine or your diet? BOTH! - I often see people throw around numbers such as diet dictates 83.2737% of your results while your routine is 16.7273%. I don’t really see a point in trying to place a number on how important each aspect is since you should be focusing on both equally. - Both are important. Training provides the stimulus you need to grow if you’re bulking or maintain muscle if you’re cutting. Your diet will dictate whether you are actually eating enough to be gaining muscle or in a caloric deficit to be losing fat. Simply put, they’re both important and if either is off, your results will be suboptimal. They say that abs are made in the kitchen. Post By @apfau : - Follow @health_.union Every level of body fat comes with some advantages and some disadvantages. The extent of these advantages and disadvantages will vary from person to person. I’ve obviously experienced all of these levels of body fat so this is a combination of my personal experience and what I’ve observed in others as well. - You should not attempt to get to contest levels of body fat unless you are competing. You may look shredded but you will feel lethargic, you will always be hungry, gaining muscle will be virtually impossible, and your hormones will be suppressed. The disadvantages outweigh the advantages (doing well on stage) for sure. - At around 10% you are still very lean but also a lot healthier. You’re still likely to be hungry quite often. However, most people will be able to gain both size and strength at around this level and your hormones should be relatively normal. Some people will find this harder to maintain than others. - At around 15% and higher, hunger should not be an issue. You may even find the opposite problem where you don’t want to eat at times. You will likely be at your strongest and muscle gains should come pretty easily. Your hormones will be at optimal levels and energy levels should be high. However, the disadvantages are the aesthetics since you won’t have much definition anywhere. - Overall, it’s going to come down to your personal preferences and goals. If you don’t care about being lean, then sitting at around 15% is a pretty good spot. If you care about aesthetics and being lean all year round, then it requires accepting lower levels of strength, slower gains, and higher hunger levels. Fat loss isn't very complicated, it just hard sometimes to eat less food. Great diagram @jmaxfitness You should still be training the same way for the most part, except possibly adding in some extra conditioning work. You should still be training for strength though, just as you would if you are looking to add muscle. To be comfortable with yourself, you must have that confidence standing behind it. I can not speak for other moms or wives, but as a mom & wife I always put my son & husbabd before me, but tget also have been my support/motivation. I get into that mode when i do forget about myself abd focus on them. When i do get my time, I kill it. Since I've gone to the gym (or when i do the have the time) I feel so much stronger and better about me. I just don't post pics for the attention/followers/ the likes but to show others that it is possible to get where you want to be with the attitude/confidence/happiness you have in yourself. You bring out who you want to be. . I have been fighting with my weight, I know it has been my own fault. I an finally getting back to me abd feeling better. We often neglect our lower back and concentrate on our abs when we think of our ‘core’. Try to balance your opposing muscle groups to see the best results, and avoid muscle imbalances. P.s- This video is sped up to show you more reps. P.p.s- This is also a great exercise to target your hammies and glutes🍑 💥Shoulder Triset/ Death set. I hate shoulders but I still train them. I know they are my weakest area so I need to give them special attention. I performed the last 3 exercises back to back with no rest. It’s a killer!☠️ - 💥Other exercises included in my workout: plate loaded single arm row, concentrated bicep curls, machine shoulder press, cable superset- tricep push down and bicep curls. - I performed each exercise for 3 sets of 10-12 reps, although a few fell short and a few I reached 15 and upped the weight!
