Eating for muscle gain should be just as calculated as fat loss. A big mistake people make is being too liberal with their food choices and quality. This usually leads to unnecessary fat gain. It also screws up the composition of your macronutrients. You want to prioritize carbs and protein during a mass. Going crazy and eating whatever you want usually leads to an extremely high fat intake and low protein intake. This isn’t optimal for recovery or muscle hypertrophy. Here are some action items for your mass phase: 1. Set a protein goal and make sure you hit eat everyday 2. In addition to hitting your protein goal, you want to make sure you have protein present at each meal 3. Make sure you are eating enough carbs 4. If you can, try to consume 4-6 meals a day 5. As your weight goes up, so should your calories 6. I quite often get told or overhear people say that they're struggling to add size to their arms.... For me you can do all the tricep pulldowns you like you're not going to be adding mass just sculpting. The two moves I would recommend are close bench bench press as per this video (yes my arms could and should be tighter to my body - note to self!) or up right dips. First session since competition Sunday. Rack Rows 🤓 | Tag a friend or save this for later! ☝🏼A row variation great for learning proper scapula retraction (similar to an inverted row) and to practice building up tension in your lats/upper back like in your deadlift while using less momentum than in a normal barbell bent over row! ‼️Form check: make sure to keep your back neutral and core braced (cue: push belly out and fill it with air). Pull along your thigh towards your belly button! Squeeze your shoulder blades back, together and down to really hit your traps! 👉🏼 Also recommend switching up the grip (pronated/wide/supinated/narrow) to hit the back from different angles! Auf den Körper hören ⚠ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Es hört sich immer so toll an, wenn man sagt, dass man 6 Mal die Woche trainieren geht. Entweder wird man bewundert, weil man die Disziplin aufbringt oder man wird ungläubig angeguckt und gefragt wo man die Zeit her nimmt. Das ist jedoch alles eine Setzung von Prioritäten und ist kein Hexenwerk. Allerdings habe ich aus meinen Fehlern gelernt und bewusst Ruhephasen eingebaut. Man kann halt leider nicht immer im roten Drehzahlbereich fahren. Ab heute befinde ich mich in meiner Deloadwoche. Ob ich heute noch trainieren gehe lasse ich mir offen, weil ich einfach im Moment relativ ausgezehrt bin aufgrund der Hausarbeit. Die Personen, die meine Story schauen, wissen wie lange ich immer dran sitze. Und ob ich jetzt einfach zu Hause bleibe oder mit 60% meiner Kraft trainieren gehe, tut sich meiner Erfahrung nach gar nichts! Deswegen fangt an auf euren Körper zu hören. Nicht nur was Ruhephasen betrifft, sondern auch das Essen. Wenn ihr merkt, dass ihr ein Lebensmittel nicht so gut verdaut dann lasst es weg und esst es nicht nur weil es auf dem Plan steht! ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Wie handhabt ihr das? Lieber intuitiv oder strikt den Plan befolgen?

Incline DB press for 9 reps‼️⁣⁣ -⁣ Another clip from push day (BW: 133 Lbs)⁣⁣ -⁣ I’ve got mad love for using the barbell for bench and incline but I think dumbbells are just as important. ⁣⁣ -⁣ For me, it takes more effort to keep the weight under control specially when going heavy and it also prevents your dominant side from pushing more weight than your weaker side causing imbalances. ⁣⁣ -⁣ I rarely get the opportunity to go heavy on dumbbells unless I have a spotter that can help me pull the weight up over my shoulders. ⁣⁣ -⁣ DM or comment me if you have any questions or tips for me!
