Making up for my terrible squats one deadlift at a time.
Deadlift —> 6x2 at 405, 1x5 at 405
Front Squats —> 3x3 at 250
3x8 each leg DB Lunges
On the last set of deads, I decided to go to fail and got 5 of them which was very surprising. Not recorded because I needed my music.
Also tried out my new belt today and it was great
I was recently asked about resistance bands in general
I love resistance bands ❌I don’t love them as a standalone exercise in the middle of your workout ✅ I do love them as a superset to a chest press or fly variation ✅ I do love them as a warm-up ✅ I do love them as a finisher to blow up your chest and round out a pump ✅ I do love them to add resistance to any weighted exercise

Dinner tonight was quick again, I just don’t have time to spend hours on food. When I get home from work, the kids are tired and hungry and hang from my leg while I’m cooking, so I try to be as quick as possible.
Broccoli, carrots and baby corn sliced, thrown in the pan with some olive oil and garlic
Stir fry until slightly softened.
Add a packet of uncle bens whole grain rice, and cook for a minute or so until the rice is warm
Add a good handful of prawns and heat till the prawns are warm
Add some katsu curry stir fry sauce and stir till the sauce is hot
Turn off the heat and add a large handful of spinach and stir till wilted
Serve with chilli flakes 😃
Must have took all of 10 minutes, it was delicious and the Katsu curry sauce only had 112 cals in per packet. Winner winner prawn dinner 😋
