"Never pretend to a love which you do not actually feel, for love is not ours to command." - Alan Watts
As September winds down, I reflect on really dedicating myself to photographing the Elk rut this year. I'm working on putting together a large body of work that will encompass my 2018 photographic adventures, and can't wait to share it with you all. This is one from that magical golden hour light where those long shadows fill the meadow, as this iconic bull bugled.

love her but leave her wild
One of the few objects that caught my eye driving. Seeing this beautiful, lonely tree and I had no choice but to stop and take a photo.
To me, this photo was stepping just slightly out of my comfort zone. One of the things I'm trying to improve on is simplifying my photographs. I'm sure others see a lot of my posts and notice how busy with colour and objects they can be, and sometimes that works in a way, perhaps in abstract art and photography, but I think it's definitely important to have a clear subject. So I'm going to start working on improving this skill a lot more in my work going forward.
Let me know some things you're trying to improve on for yourself or your art or anything. Happy Wednesday!
A light drizzle just after dawn, as two motorcycles head toward Angkor Wat after crossing under the north gate of Angkor Thom in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Day one completed, day two has begun 😤😤
Gempal, gosong, namun menggemaskan.
