🌈7. Early December 2016
👼Leah was 2-years-old in this photo and had been placed with us only a month prior.
🙎🏼♂️🙍🏽♂️The year before fostering Leah, we had suffered a great loss as the 4 children we hoped to spend our forever with were placed with another family. A year of our lives spent bonding and connecting just gone in an instant. POOF 💨
😱Needless to say what a scary time, taking in an emergency placement foster child, within two hours of the call. PANIC!
🎒She came with the clothes on her back, a raggedy doll, an overused blanky, and a backpack with a couple summer shirts and a pair of stained sweatpants...
Best decision we ever made. She completed our family 👨👨👧🐕🏡... FOREVER! ❤️🙏🏽
