End of 2018 - Physique Status. Feeling strong, my body always responds well to weights & pull-ups. But I have a good amount of body fat to lose.
2019 will see a lot of running - I mean, A LOT. And my current plan is getting down to business with Yoga 1-2x per week. I have strength and endurance, but my flexibility and overall body unity is really poor. Yoga is the glue that connects everything else that I do, and repairs the damage from lifting and running.

If you go for a run but don’t instagram it, did it even happen? 🤔 💯 YESSSS. I still run 4-5 days a week lately but almost never bring my phone or take a photo — because how many running photos can a girl take on the same route, day in and day out? 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve been a little MIA on the IG but still out here doing my thing. Sometimes failing at social media means winning at other things, and I’m very ok with that. 🖤 Sending virtual high fives to everyone who ran today (whether you instagrammed it or not). 👏🏼👋🏼😘

The beauty of riding backcountry is the positive outlook shared by everyone you're with. Even after having to stop and dig for skis after a double eject, everyone is still in the same positive state of mind that can only be found deep in the mountains. (That's me in the back struggling to get my skis back on after said double ejection)

“Age is just a number, Part 1: Don’t Let Anyone Talk You Out of your Dreams.” I realized this morning that I hadn’t done a straight up fitness post in a couple of months so I thought I would share my morning workout: Bench Press(225lbs)/Pull-ups/Jump Squats/DB Curls(50lbs)/Push-ups/Abs in a max-Rep circuit for 10 rounds for a total rep count in the 1000 or so range...followed by 10-Miles of biking at a solid pace. Painful in a good way. This type of training is good for increasing overall work capacity and metabolic rate, as well as improving basic stamina for pretty much anything else. Later today I’ll do session 2, which will be Striking endurance. Disclaimer: this workout was fueled by Kodiak Pancakes, Rockstar Recovery, some exceptionally loud music, and the best homemade oatmeal chocolate chip protein-ball things of all time. Now go forth, do great things, conquer whatever obstacles are in your way, and if anyone tells you that you can’t achieve something just look at them and say, “we’ll just see about that.” Fire it up! 💪🔥
