Ännu en arbetsvecka snart slut med halvdag imorgon. Men träningen för veckan är inte klar på långa vägar än. Imorgon är det en kortare runda som gäller och laddning inför långpasset på söndag. Jag tog 3 varv på rundan förra veckan. Undra hur många det blir den här gången, men jag nöjer mig inte med mindre än tre, om jag så ska krypa. Dags att dra igång med mer fys nästa vecka och med anblicken på upplägget är det bara förbereda sig för ömmande muskler. Även om det är kroppsvikt så är failure inget att leka med. 💥💥 Transformation Thursday 💥💥 I met Vicky while away in Tenerife! She’s had incredible results beyond weight loss! Checkout her story below 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 I was so stressed with no energy or motivation, living for the blow outs on a weekend. I craved all the wrong foods which left me bloated and often run down. It left little time to focus on my amazing family. Now I’m in a far better place. I’ve got tonnes more energy and gained lean muscle instead of mush. I can now rely on my Isa food to be healthy as well as convenient which fits into my busy life so well. My health, wellness and strength have massively improved, I no longer crave the weekend blowouts and as a result I’m a much better role model for my boys. Here’s to ageing healthily and gracefully (well most of the time anyway 😉)
As part of my exercise regime, I want to work on my strength and flexibility to avoid injury. I heard @rogerframpton on a podcast and loved the sound of movement goals and the clear steps to reach them. I spent this morning establishing my starting point for each exercise to work towards using his book. Do you love battle ropes? No? It's ok, no one else does either. . HOWEVER, battle ropes are a quick (and possibly fun) modality to use for a conditioning workout. One of the reasons why they're getting so popular is probably because they are easy to use, yet can still be VERY challenging, even for advanced trainees. . We use battle ropes often for warm-ups, and conditioning work at @bodytechwellness. I tend to use them for quick bouts of maximum intensity work, or as a super set with a resistance exercise. . There's also a lot of different ways you can use them. They're not going to make you huge and jacked (you're going to need to lift weights for that), but they are a helpful tool.
