Then ⏭ now. I used to be so fixated on striving to be smaller. I was obsessed with my weight, my food intake and my activity level. Food was my biggest fear, I was only allowed to eat certain things that my ED told me wouldn’t make me fat. If I ate something that was “off limits” it would result in me either restricting myself all day or finding any possible way to try and burn off more calories, which sometimes meant exercising in my bedroom. This illness consumed my everyday life and had a detrimental impact on my studies as well as my overall health. Fast forward ⏭ now - I still struggle. Every day is a battle, some days harder than others. But what’s different now is I no longer let my ED consume my thoughts. I workout to be STRONGER and I eat to nourish and fuel my body properly💪🏼. GAINING WEIGHT IS COOL 💃🏼

Sometimes it is hard to decide what the best source of protein is. Here are just a few of my go to proteins for myself and my clients. There are many options to choose from and they won't break the bank. If you've got any questions about your protein intake, send me a message and let me help.

on Sundays there are a few things I consider to be ‘must do’ items for a successful week
1 meal prep/meal plan
this doesn’t have to be super labor intensive or detailed. even just a few simple items like chicken and potatoes and veggies can be easily transformed into healthy options
clear the mail off the table. put the last of the laundry away. wash any remaining dishes. start the week off with a clear space and a clear mind
3 self care
stretch. go for a walk. take a bath. cuddle with your dogs or your human or both
4 plan out your week
write down tasks that need to get done. bills that need to be paid. figure out when you’re going to get your workouts in. this isn’t set in stone but getting out on paper will help free up your mind to focus on other things throughout the week
