I'm a lover of texture and light. I enjoy throwing on lenses and taking a look around, often not snapping anything until it makes me feel juuust right or not taking anything at all. It's an incredible way to look at this amazing world. 👊

Life is kind of like climbing crack. If you’re about to fall, just jam harder. Or something to that sort. Haha. 📸 @kirk_hilton of @_scott.stevenson_ trying to put more holes in his puffy. Nothing a little duct tape can’t fix 😉
It’s not about having time,
it’s about making time. “For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine...”

"Stop looking at me SWAN"... I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with these incredible birds. This was taken right before another one came from behind me and swiped a fish right out of my hand! I think I had several heart attacks that day. 💔🎏🌊🌞 #florida#pelicans (I know)

Saguaro was unlike any other wilderness I have visited. I ascended thousands of feet through 5 different ecological zones, feeling the chill whenever my mountains got between me and the sun. The quiet made me feel like i could have a conversation from 100 feet away, which made the takeoffs and landings from Tucson an incredibly loud disturbance. I spent a whole day without seeing another person. The mandatory campgrounds far from trailheads, freezing cold, and scarce water are valid reasons to avoid this wilderness. For me, it was freeing. I enjoyed 100-mile views, beautiful birdsongs, and reaching the highest point in the land. Not the easiest place to photograph, but every step took you to new majestic sights. Saguaro is a wild and magical place.
Made it to White Sands just in time for sunset and am avoiding the 15 degree weather in a nearby hotel. I've got a busy few days coming up and the excitement is real!

Pam trees + sunny skies + warm weather = perfection. I would never get old of views like this with ocean breezes 🌴
// even if you go for it and it doesn't work out, you still win. You still had the guts enough to head straight into something that frightened you. That type of bravery will take you places // I came across these words on Pinterest and couldn't agree more. How often are we paralyzed by the fear of "what if"? Instead, let's stop looking at life like a series of possible failures, but a series of possible victories. And if not victories, then learning experiences. Life becomes less scary when we stop fearing mistakes.
Holy moly gratitude. Gratitude for these 8 (+/-2) human beans that I choose to spend most of my existence following around with wooden planks on my feet, gratitude for two (finally) working knees after about 3.5 straight years of strengthening & rehabbing, gratitude for free beer that seems to follow @flowmotion920 everywhere he goes, gratitude for the stoke that seems to exist every time some random plan is drunkenly dreamt up over a PBR with lime. & gratitude for the fact that we finally finally FINALLY found some snow somewhere, even though we had to drive 550 miles to find it. #yeababyskiin#yeababyjackson#mysecondfavoritehole
I am all aboard the struggle bus with winter running 😭 To help prop up my spirits as the temperature plunges and my neighborhood was covered in ice, I put together the five things getting me through winter running right now on my website. Link in the bio 👆🏼#outdoorbeginner

Today I ran solo, which doesn't happen too often anymore thanks to the awesome community that is #hamont . Along the way I got lost in thought about those lucky runners who have coastal rainforests in their backyard, or the ones who get to frolic among mountain trails. Then I caught myself and realized exactly where I was, recalling the 2+ years of weekly visits to these trails and how many times either myself or a fellow runner exclaimed how beautiful they are. Spring, summer, fall and winter: I haven't taken you for granted yet, dear Dundas Valley, and I hope I never do. 💛💙💜

So excited to put my design in the new house, but started to realize I need a lot more HGTV in my life. I was more confused leaving Lowe's than I was before I got there. Some of my thoughts when looking at paint colors:
-How many shades of white are there? 🙄
-I'd really like to meet the person that painted their wall Mayonnaise 😂
-Coming up with these names must be the most fun job ever 🎨
-Can I get the number for Chip and Joanna please 🙆🏼
Farmhouse, modern, industrial... what's your vibe?
