It’s really difficult for me to post this. I’m pretty embarrassed. This isn’t your typical “before/after” progress pic; this is an “after/before” regress pic.
What a difference a year can make. Over the past twelve months I’ve had three different careers, started working from home, moved to a different city, gone through a bad breakup, and had my life flip on its head more times than I can count. I struggle with depression and at times things can get very, very dark.
It’s been a whirlwind of a year, and I’ve also had a lot of success during that time (I’ve published five books since January), but one of the things that fell by the wayside was my health and fitness. I feel and look like crap.
I’m getting back on track. It’s day two of GoingKeto, and I’m gonna get there. I want to look and feel good in my skin again; to be comfortable with who I am; to have the health that will allow me to enjoy many, many more years with my kids. I won’t stop until I get there.

Today is the day! Yesterday was the last with bandages since the operation, today Funi finally got to go outside with the others. The great girls at our stable have been given me feedback and pictures during this long period on stablerest, so I already know the leg is looking good with no swelling overnight and Funi seemed very very happy to be outside again. Tonight I get to sit on his back for the first time in what feels like forever, and so our recoverytraining begins - again. However this time I am confident it will be no more stablerest for a long long time. Only the slow prosess of getting us both back in shape. Giggly like a schoolgirl just by the prospect of sitting in his saddle 😍😂 #icelandichorse #roadtorecoverystartsnow #gettingbackinshape
Back when CrossFit was life•I’ll be back soon 😩💕💪🏾🏋🏾♀️
I’m not perfect... far from it.
I started this new program 11 days ago. I’d done it before with fab results and here we go again! 🎉Down 5.5 lbs in 11 days!! 🎉
Last weekend I indulged in popcorn and chocolate and wine. Most days I’m over my allotted containers in one way or another. Yesterday’s tracker shows I missed a half a fruit and ate an extra carb, an extra veggie, and an extra two tsps fat (aka peanut butter). And yet this morning I still woke up to a major loss on the scale! 👌🏼 Now I know the scale isn’t everything. But when my pants feel looser and my energy is up, I know I’m on the right track! Boom! 💥
Want to know what I’m doing to get results? Message me!
I don’t bite. It’s not for everyone and I’m no about to pressure you. It’s what’s working for me and I want to share that with those who it can help too.
Next group starts in two weeks! You In?!
In this last year I have worked hard to get back into shape. 💪🏽👊🏽Lemme tell ya, it has not been easy but with the help and support from others and the trainers at Hopi Wellness Center, I am slowly making progress. It is so easy to make excuses, especially with a busy schedule but I am doing it.😁
Day 15: I am grateful for the encouragement and support from everyone with my fitness goals. 💪🏽🏃🏽♀️

Did a killer cardio workout today! ◾️
Workout: ✅20 mins on the elliptical with various inclines and resistance
✅10 mins running/walking on the treadmill at full incline (low key almost fell off from running at a full incline at a 6.5 speed😅😬) ✅ran a suicide in the gym ✅bicep curls x15 with 10 pound dumbbells
✅fly backs x15 with 10 pound dumbbells
✅20 crunches ◾️
Trying to get better about working out everyday, but life got a little crazy. Looking into a gym membership still, so we will see about that! Workout suggestions? DM me orrr drop them below in the comments!
Taking s break from exercise is excruciating, but the feeling of the workout after a break is spectacular! Nothing's more refreshing after a workout than a glass of freshly blended pomegranate juice with a hint of lemon!

[advertisement] 7 weeks of almost doing nothing. 🐴 how is dalbyn's training condition? what will my part of his rehab training look like? ❓ a few questions i wanna answer here. 😊 •••
of course dalbyn lost muscles and condition. but not as much as i expected. well, he lives in a herd and can move as he wants 24/7. 🐴 #horseparadise
🙈 what we struggle with is his stiffness. i don‘t wonder about him being as hard as a board. but for now this is what i focuse on. 😌 my first goal is to get the smoothness and lightness back into his moves with lectures like leg-yielding, shoulder-in and voltes in walk and trot from the ground, further with poles, much forward-downward work in all gates with active hindquarters on circles, and more things tending in the same direction while riding. all to get him move through his whole body. 🐎 if it feels like he gets his smoothness back, i want to start with some collecting work from the ground and then transfer it to riding. but that‘s the sound of future for now. 😅
you have read everything? 🙈 comment with a 🐎! 😘 then i‘ll give you a shoutout in my story. •••
