The only non-negotiable is showing up. Even on the days when you want to pull the covers over your head and pretend like you don’t exist or stick your fingers in your ears and say “lalala I can’t hear you world.” 🙉 Even on the days when it seems like nothing is going right and your hard work isn’t amounting to anything. Even when no one pats you on the back or tells you they’re proud of you. JUST SHOW UP. Give 100% every single day because one day you’ll realize it was all worth it when you’re living in your empire 👑 I’m watching successful people that were in the same spot as me at one point and just trusting in the universe and the process 🙌🏼🙏

Why do we do this to ourselves?
Why do we make it half way through the week and then eat a whole box of donuts, stop working out, and just give up all together when we don’t see immediate results?
I can’t answer for anyone but myself but I feel that on some level it’s because we don’t truly believe in ourselves.
Those voices creep into our minds saying “you’re not going to lose the weight anyway so just give up now”.
This change is viewed strictly as a miserable diet.
Something that is only temporary until we lose that “x” number of pounds. .
Both situations leave us no where near our goal asking ourselves.... why?
And I say it all comes down to your MINDSET.
If you say you’re going to fail... you will. EVEN IF YOU NEVER SAY IT OUT-LOUD. Thoughts are heard just as loud in your head.
✨if you’re one that says dieting and working out is miserable: then it will be✨
But if you REALLY want to see a change then open up your mind 🧠 to the possibility that you could love this new lifestyle & BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! (If you don’t, who will?)
That you will succeed and progress 💪🏼 while still being able to eat “fun” food 🍩💕

Gut check!! Picture on the left was last year in September. I was 3 months postpartum very unhappy with myself healthwise. Picture on the left is me now. I still have a long way to go but headed in the right direction. In all honesty I didn't want to post these pictures till I was further along in my journey but getting fit has been by far one of the hardest things I've done. How can I discredit all the hard work it has taken along the way to get to this and not post?? A LOT and I mean a lot of trial and error, starting and giving up, and starting again. A great friend of mine tells me it's more than motivation it's dedication. And she is so right!! It's being consistent with your diet even while at moms house and she makes chilaquiles 😭, and working out 2 am because that's the only time you can😴. It has definitely not been easy but I see the big picture. I know the kind of person I want to be, the kind of role model I want to be to my son and my daughter, and being unhappy with myself, I couldn't be who I wanted them to aspire to be like. I'm not trying to fit anyones idea of what fit is, I am trying to find my fitness and figure out what it means to me! Progress not perfection. I credit a lot of my fitness journey to my awesome coach/mentor/bestie Sierra! Her greatness truly rubbed off on me a tiny bit!! I LOVE YOU GIRL! They are super easy to make and take little to no time at all! It’s just like breading fish if you’ve ever done that!
•Crush 1 bag of @questnutrition
chips while still in bag
•Cut up an 8oz chicken breast
•Dip in 1 egg whites and then right away dip into the crushed @questnutrition
•Bake on greased pan or greased tinfoil at 400 for 30 min. I like to flip mine to broil for 2 additional minutes to make them extra crunchy!
