Strength is what we gain from the madness we survive. Any prayers welcome- for positive bladder and CT scans & tests tomorrow at my 1pm appointment. I am beyond nervous for this procedure & the fear has been slowly eating at me... I must remember that whatever is to be 💋is to be. This is completely out of my hands. If the bladder surgery did not take- it didn’t take. There are other alternatives. So here’s to hoping for the best results- but being prepared for the worst. COOKIES 😍🍪😍🍪 Highly requested macro friendly chocolate, coconut cookie recipe 👏🏻🍪👏🏻🍪👏🏻 Ingredients 100g lite cottage cheese 100g egg whites 1 whole egg 80g coconut flour 100g Natvia sweetener (stevia based sweetener) 20g cocoa powder Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix 👌🏻 the batter should be sticky but easy to roll into balls. Add more flour/egg whites to adjust mixture if needed. Roll into balls, flatten on baking tray (optional - add one piece of caramello chocolate on top if each cookie 🤗) bake on 180C for 15-20mins I made 13 cookies out of this mixture 💁🏼‍♀️ One cookie (no caramello) approx = 50cal (5 carbs, 1.5 fat, 4 protein) One cookie with caramello approx = 80cal (9 carbs, 3 fat, 4 protein) Let me know what you think! 🍪🍪🍪

Finally not sick for what feels like the first time in months. I used the treadmill downstairs to do a session of zombie run 5k training and then 20 min of max incline speed walking. Man my legs felt like lead after, it has been a long time. I followed up with a little bit of lower body tabata before calling it a night. I felt such relief and content enjoyment while I pushed myself in my cardio, I always forget just how much of a stress relief working out is for me. Hoping to get back in a routine by the start of next week, after that I'll be trying to get diet back on track and a few other much needed health necessities included into my routine as well. We'll see how this goes! Tried the old toes turned out a bit more trick. Felt good. Wore belt cause I hate wearing my belt so need to start training with it on. I'm pleased. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bench - triples 70kg feeling good, looking good, bit uneven, but now I've found an angle to film the uneveness from hopefully I can work on it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deadlifts - 90kg paused. Felt goooood. Managing the pain onset before it builds after each set, stabilising the hip. Finally feel like I can train deadlifts 😍 Will see how the physio exercises continue to make improvements and how things hold up as weights increase. Thanks to @uniquephysiotherapy and @chris_kershaw_strength for recommending her (even if he doesn't remember). Using straps for now so can train overhand as wondering if my right hand underhand is exacerbating the granny hip, leg pain, twisting issues. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall today felt how it should feel at these weights. I felt in control, capable, confident.

Using light weights shouldn’t mean it’s “easy”. I rarely go easy on myself when I train, but I always use a variety of rep ranges. Here are some hip thrusts from today, my lightest was just bodyweight with a heavy band (it was 50 reps but didn’t fit it all in the video) and my heaviest of the day (150kg x 8 reps). As long as you push yourself on each set, and execute proper form, you’ll achieve awesome results. Don’t worry about how much other people are lifting and really challenge yourself.
