Swimming at the Ouzoud waterfall was surreal. I just wish my camera was waterproof 😅

“Hardly Home, But Always Reppin” - To know me? Is to know I love my culture(s).
As a 1st generation kid with 3 flags in her bio .. An African father .. A mother from the West Indies .. Yet raised Stateside in the U.S .. My self-identity is a mixed bag to say the least. So far, I’ve settled on “AfroCaribeña” .. It feels complete to me.
Anywho, I was told recently that living abroad (and particularly living in Qatar) means giving up a huge chunk of your culture... I beg to differ. My culture(s) live on within me with each meal I cook .. Through the fabrics I wear .. The countless accent-filled conversation w/ loved ones back home .. Or these huge custom gold earrings from @usvirginislands
(mom’s home country) ... No matter how far I go in this world, I carry my people with me .. Always!
was amazing in every single way. The staff was superb and the rooms were as beautiful as they were clean. Can’t wait to come back again! 🧡
Finally taking a moment to relax during my last few days in Morocco....and it feels so bittersweet.
…she remembered watching a summer sunset from this very spot. Not so long ago; just a lifetime. —Sharon Kay Penman 🌅

The Temple of Heaven, founded in the first half of the 15th century, is set in gardens and surrounded by historic pine woods. It symbolizes the relationship between earth and heaven, and In 1988, it was opened to the public as a park, showing ancient philosophy, history and religion. #Travel #Beijing

Turns out people are even more ruthless in diagon alley after someone threw a butterbeer all over Emily. Unfortunately she didn't let me photograph it though so heres a picture of somewhere in Universal not Harry Potter related.
It's tradition to go to walmart in Orlando and buy our bodyweight in American treats. 🍬 (and awkwardly try and take pics before realising its a Sunday and there's people everywhere and run away in shame #awkward
