What an amazing dish!! I’m absolutely loving everything from this cookbook.
Fennel seeds, cumin seeds, chili powder, garlic, mustard seeds, asafetida, cilantro, salt & turmeric are sautéed and steeped in olive oil, then poured over Hasselback local eggs. So simple and delicious!

LOW CARB LASAGNA! 😮😍 Anyone who knows me, understands my love for lasagna. It's hands down my favorite food. It was KILLING me that I couldn't enjoy this meal without feeling awful and having bloat the next day. So... I improvised and made zucchini lasagna. It wasn't the same, but it was DELICIOUS. 😋😋 I'm drooling just thinking about the left overs. 😂

Today was so hot that I didn’t feel like having hot soup noodles. Pasta, cooked broccoli and tomato tossed in chilli padi infused soy sauce, olive oil, calamansi lime. Topped with (this time anyhow made) tempeh rendang and pine nuts.
Even when I use Western ingredients, I find myself using Southeast Asian condiments to dress it. Mainly because Western condiments are so much more expensive! Eg basalmic vinegar is almost 10x pricier than Chinese black vinegar. So if you want to save $ on food, eat like a local ☺️
Waffles in the morning, waffles in the evening, waffles at supper time!!🎶
There are SOO many different ways to make a waffle!! I love making different waffle recipes to meet my nutritional macro needs depending on my workout or carb intake for the day! High protein, low carb, no carb, flourless, sweet, savory.. I have cooked them all! Haha ☺️👏🏻♥️
Maybe I should start a hashtag - #unappealingoats ? Seriously, ever since I shattered my favorite ceramic oat dish (RIP) my pre-work breakfasts have been sad looking. But what they’ve lacked in appeal, they’ve made up for in flavor! Today’s #proats are made with @quaker rolled oats, egg whites, @tonicproducts collagen powder, and @thrivetribe_snacks cacao nibs!
