5 miles was on the schedule, but since my long run was pushed a day back, I only did 4. My legs are quite tired from yesterday’s miles, and I don’t want to overdue it. It was also really hot. I need to stop snoozing my alarm 😄. Time for a nice cold shower!

hat gestartet. Also war heute wieder ein Lauf dran. 3x8min mit einer Minute gehpause. Am Anfang war ich noch locker und gut drauf, aber dann kam der Anstieg 🙈 ich dachte ich bleibe stehen 🤣 und auf dem Rückweg war ich eigentlich mit meiner Runde schon fertig, aber ich hatte noch zu viele Minuten auf meinem timer. Also noch ne runde um den Block. Aber das reichte auch nicht, also noch ne runde um den Block auf der anderen seite. 🙈 das hat iwie ziemlich geschlaucht. I love to run. I even believe that I (and we has humans) are born to run. But even I sometimes struggle to find the motivation to go out and #justdoit
This is a photo of a successful run...it's not the fastest I've ever run, nor is it the farthest and it definitely didn't feel like I was on top of my game. But I did it despite my inner demons telling me I hadn't eaten enough that day (sometimes if I cannot choose healthy foods, I opt for nothing at all), telling me I worked outside too long in the heat and that I was too tired, along with a slew of other excuses. .
But I tied up my laces and decided to see what I had.... I had no expectations of myself, I just wanted to get out and see how it went. I ended up running 10k with my last km being the fastest one of them all. Sometimes you just have to go out and do it, beat your inner demons and start with one foot in front of the other. I bet you'll be happy with your results. .

Happy Tuesday! I woke up this morning feeling great, the weather was cool, not humid finally, so I took to the streets! This was the best I’ve felt running in a while, until mile 2.33. At that point, my stomach cramped AND my knee started acting up, so I had to walk and slow down. But I completed the 3.41 miles with an average pace of 11.05, which isn’t awful for me. Planning on dragging @465miranda
to the gym tonight if he gets home in time.

But today when I am half way of my target & on the right path ..they act as a great motivator. They are the *Kajal* I never want to become ever again. I vow to keep striding and keep moving ahead. I feel like Superwoman! Just did 5 miles in 45:28 and the run was sooo hilly. Now that my body is used to running in altitude, running at sea level is a totally different experience. I could get use to this! 😜

WHAT?! Summer is over already?..
I started this new fitness journey just a couple weeks before school got out for the summer & I can't believe the progress I've made this summer.
Before I started this journey, I was working out 6-7 days a week for usually about 2 hours a day. (12-14 hrs/week). NOW I workout 4 (sometimes 5 ) days a week for 30-40 minutes a day. (2.5-3 hrs/week)
You all know I don't care about the number on the scale, but today I hit a number I haven't seen in years. The last time I was at this weight, I would weigh myself multiple times a day and base my next meal off what my wight was. I would watch my calories like crazy and deprive myself of all my fav foods..
Today I eat all my fav foods, thanks to my amazing meal plan that teaches me how to do so. I honestly probably eat more now than I did before.
I am eating more, working out less and seeing results I never thought I could achieve. Like guys this goal of having Carrie Underwood legs might actually be possible 😂 (I literally didn't know my thighs would even get smaller, I thought they'd always be a bit thicker)
I'm happier, healthier, and more confident. It's amazing what 1 summer of dedication to yourself can do for you!

Y'all, look at that quad! (I know it's just swollen but I'm still impressed with myself 😎) I was so worried I didn't do that much yesterday with my self-made workout but I feel EVERY. SINGLE. MUSCLE. in my legs today so I'd say it was effective 😂 Today I'm going to focus on back and abs. I figure I'll feel this week out and then make a plan for next week, but I'm planning for 5 active days a week, whatever they are since we have a Massive Thing set in stone now and my determination is in overdrive. If you've gotten this far on my inconspicuous, boring picture 😂, you'll get to know.. we decided this week that once I hit 140 (where my BMI is much healthier, etc), we are going to start TTC! 💖
