Classic, iconic views of Reykjavík from the top of Hallgrímskirkja! Love the grassy rooftop in the bottom left corner.. 🇮🇸🌾
Sunshine, Thai food & a beautiful sunset have made the first day in Iceland a success!! ♥️ .

Without new experiences, something inside of us sleeps. The sleeper must awaken - Frank Herbert
The only time we unpack our suitcase is to re-pack it all over again. Are you guilty of this?! 🤷♀️
You know you've found the right road trip buddy when she not only spots the large dinosaur statue at the random hotel in the middle of nowhere Australia, but turns the car around without needing to be asked, and gets out to take pictures of it with you. #winning
Interesting side note, this hotel is also home to a pinball museum.
Other side note, the human road trip buddy was driving, not the tiny dino road trip buddy!
Fear of the future 🏙 I have been there. I love living in Texas, but I was not excited about moving here at first. I love Tennessee and Florida. I wanted to stay on the east coast. I wanted to be close to family and friends. But God led me to Texas, and I would not trade the memories for anything. I’ve made some amazing friends from church and work. I’ve also realized how many stereotypes I had of Texas. Being far from everything I knew helped me lean on God. It also pushed me to meet new people. The future can be scary, but just know Jesus is with you no matter where you are or what you may face 💗
Craving moments like these like crazy today 🐬
Arles is such a beautiful town. I can see why Van Gogh lived here.
One of the best things about my friendship with @nath_xiv13
is making fun of each other - my reaction to the balloon pop will be something we laugh about for years!
Cannot wait to be there when soulmate walks down the aisle 💍👰 #nathaliecharles #sammanthajo
Cheers to us! We’re both moving to ASIA next month to teach 👩🏻🏫👩🏼🏫😍😘
Beautiful day. Beautiful city.
Oh the things you can do with a soccer ball....total body & balance training 💪🏽⚽️
Throwing it back to bootcamp days when we used soccer balls for endurance but also a whole lot of strength training! Just four moves here make for a full 20 minute workout that you can do anywhere...I’m actually on a hill in this one for an extra challenge! Try x3 sets:
1️⃣Chutinhos x15 each leg
2️⃣Diamond Push-ups x15
3️⃣Single-hand Push-ups x10
4️⃣Plank Knee Drops x10
Want even more of a challenge? Finish with your feet on the ball or a plank hold of 30 seconds minimum - think you can do it??
After a month of searching for the perfect spot for our next chapter, Billy and I have settled into our new farm cabin overlooking hills of cows and surrounded by nature. We woke up to the sound of a rooster and birds chirping.
My new desk is sitting on our cute deck overlooking trees. The farm dog has made itself a home by my feet and a kookaburra sits on the telephone line. I think I could get used to this.
Our rendezvous in Laos May have been unplanned, but it was certainly majestic 💫
My morning consisted of:
2 superman ziplines
1 rappel &
1 free fall Tarzan swing
all throughout this beautiful jungle!
A new way to look at the water 👀
Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go; just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome.
— Rainy day, time to read a book! 📚 Currently reading a book called ‘Survival of the sickest: the surprising connection between disease and longevity’. Sounds ironic, huh? But it’s super interesting and explains why we have ‘unwanted’ genes today- they manifested in our ancestors to allow them to survive! For example, there’s a theory that high sugar levels allowed humans to survive in the ice age when food supply was low and and lots of brown fat converted sugar for energy. Today = diabetes. Such a unique look at evolution!
A few pounds chubbier, a whole lot happier 🐥🍕🍖
lucky to have you in my life forever💕 ride or die baby!
Another day, another night.
SOO surreal💫 I know it’s not the best picture, but one of the main reasons I bought my @sonyalpha
was to learn how to shoot the stars. Truthfully it’s so daunting to learn how to use the manual functions on the camera but here’s to many YouTube and internet searches.
Thank you to @lostwithjess
for letting me tag along to Vermont ⭐️ Wish I could see stars like this every night.
I absolutely LOVE antiquing! 😍😍
If you ever get a chance, head to Allen, Michigan. It’s one of the cutest little antique towns I have ever come across!
Swipe left to see some of my favorite spots and my most recent finds!
I’ve never made a “bucket list” per say, but I do have lots of endeavors that I subconsciously pursue. This was a graduation present to my sweet little brother that turned into a mission to see that he actually made it off the airplane... which therefore meant I had to jump too. 😆 •
But, I wasn’t complaining about it either! ✌️😬🤞
Reminiscing on my summer last year. I was just starting my three month stay in London after coming back from Spain. Hands down one of the best summers. Spent so much time with family and friends. Literally felt right at home! Can’t wait to go back! 🇬🇧❤️
I’ve heard a lot of people say they don’t really like London. It’s too expensive, overrated, the food is trash...but my experience was completely different. If you ever find your way there, don’t spend too much time in the touristy locations. I personally try to spend as little time as possible in the oversaturated areas. I love local areas, hole in the wall restaurants, and interacting with locals. Yes it was a bit different for me b/c I had family to look over me, but I still would’ve attempted to experience the local lifestyle. It’s been my favorite way to travel so far, and has yet to fail me!

Week Forty: El Salvador 🇸🇻
✘ We stepped off the plane ✈️ in San Salvador & into the thick warm heat that met us. We were greeted by about 20 friendly taxi drivers, 🚕 many even speaking English. We picked our guy and asked for ‘El Tunco’. 🌊 We’d heard this was a famous surfers 🏄♂️ spot & a new and upcoming top backpackers 🎒 chill out. We were really looking forward to it but we had zero expectations. 🙋🏻♀️ NEW BLOG UP NOW! link in bio - everything you need to know 💁🏻♀️👩🏻💻 Do you have a blog? Let me know in the comments below 👇
✘ El Salvador’s tourism industry is currently doubling EVERY YEAR. Yes it is safe. Yes it’s booming. Did you know that pro surfers 🏄♀️ 🏄♂️ from all over the world come to El Tunco to train every year before heading off to major competitions in Hawaii, Australia 🇦🇺 & South America? The people are vibrant, funny, extremely welcoming & SO HAPPY. The Salvadoran people have endured a lot. Their country deserves to be enjoyed & appreciated. 😘 If any of you think I’m just another one of those ‘bloggers’ endorsing places I don’t believe in you should get to know me. 🤪 I truly loved it here and I know lots of you will too. Today was pretty fucking cool. After a delicious solo breakfast, which included a meat I’d never tried before (how have y’all been hiding the magic of bresaola from me?!🤦♀️), I joined an Alternative Walking Tour and explored a grittier side of Berlin with a rad English bloke leading the way. Four hours later, I was on my own again at the start of the East Side Gallery— a collection of artwork on the longest remaining stretch of what was once the Berlin Wall. Photos didn’t prepare me for what it was like to be there... to see so much undeniable beauty plastered right on top of such an ugly part of history. It genuinely took my breath away.
But of course— still gotta get some pics for the ‘gram— so I scoped out a place and waited for my moment. Lucky for me, I spotted a tall ginger with a nice camera and asked for an assist. Even luckier, he turned out to be @jonesaroundtheworld
, and we had a lovely chat and stroll, snapping some pics and being real ass people... even though one of us is a big time travel blogger, and the other is named Dave. 😂 Kidding, obvi. But seriously, that was dope. Don’t even get me started on the video message he sent to my queen so I could gush adoration. I pulled it together, but he almost saw my ugly cry face. 🙅♀️
I waked a mile in the wrong direction just chatting him up and being in awe of how he’s living the dream. My five months of solo travel seem like nothing in comparison, but HE didn’t make me feel like that. He made me feel like maybe one day, I could do this full time, too. Maybe.
But in the meantime, I think I’ve got a new friend, and at the very least, the photos he took include my head, my feet, and the thing I’m standing in front of— which is better than I can say for most of my other requested assists. You the real MVP, bro. 🙌
I’ll be up early again tomorrow to learn more about the rise and fall of the Nazis, but for now, my feet are achey and my scalp is sunburnt, so I’m callin’ it a night with a chorus of snoring dudes welcoming me to join (#HostelLife
). Thanks for giving me a reason to keep track of this journey— it’s already been even better than I’d imagined.
Do you love cats as much as me? Where ever I am in the world, there needs to be at least one cat snap! This was below our Airbnb in Warsaw Poland, a purrfect little cat cafe 🐱😍#findtravelkitten

Quick! Grab the Monet and lets Gogh! 🇫🇷 (yes, I’m aware neither the Monet or Gogh are housed at the Louvre.. but just Gogh with it)
