Sometimes your workout isn’t what you expected it to be! Mine was a lot of dancing today and more like therapy! It was definitely needed and it felt good to move my body, because it is a natural stress reliever! So if you are an anxious or stressed person, move your body for 30 minutes a day, I guarantee you will feel better! So thankful those 30 minutes are up so I can go have dinner with my husband and relax 🙏🏻!
Pumpkin pie butter 🎃 like pumpkin pie filling, but in a creamy, spreadable, and healthy form. Made with fresh pumpkin (or you can totally used canned for convenience), walnuts, and some warming spices, and all you have to do it blend it all together. We put it on toast, dipping apples in it, putting it on rice cakes, topping oats with it, and just straight up eating it with a spoon. It's paleo, vegan, gluten free, and Whole30 approved too! Soooo....Today I ordered at gluten free pizza from a local independent pizzeria. I now believe that I was served a standard pizza. With severe chest pain, feeling lightheaded, irregular heart rate pattern and suddenly going very grey are symptoms I’ve never experienced. To say it was scary was an understatement. Luckily I carry antihistamine with me and although I didn’t even realise these are allergy symptoms I didn’t want to chance it. Over 7 hours later I’m still in a lot of pain.
Im so careful normally but not rechecking before I ate it has now made me paranoid. No more GF replacement foods for a while, and just as I had started to enjoy them!
But.... thankfully I acted and took 4 tablets to control the reaction.

salame pizza and it did not disappoint! 🍕 The bass was delicious, thin & crispy and their was actually enough cheese 🧀! I was pretty disappointed with the @wholecreations
one though, the base was pretty tasteless and it didn’t go crispy it was more soggy. I couldn’t taste the caramelised onion but the chicken was nice 🍕🍕. What is everyone else’s favourite frozen pizza??
I set out a poll to see who wanted my taco soup recipe and it was a land slide for a yes! My trip to Iceland got me really inspired to come home and cook some good soup. In Iceland, they eat a LOT of soup! Typically every day served with some bread. Here is my taco soup recipe:
8 cups beef broth
1 (28oz) can diced tomatoes (all, don’t strain)
2 (15oz) cans kidney beans (strained and rinsed)
1 (16oz) jar salsa
1 lb grass fed ground beef
1 onion, diced
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
2 broccoli crowns, cut into bite size pieces (I even throw the stems in)
1 pack taco seasoning
1 tbsp butter/ oil
S&P (to taste)
Sauté onions in butter/oil for about 3-5 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Season beef mixture with taco seasoning and a little of the beef broth for a good consistency.
Add all other ingredients.
Instantpot: Set to “Soup” function for 6 minutes.
Stove top: Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve with sliced avocado and fresh cilantro!
Spicy gnocchi bake..... Delicious!!!

This 100% gluten free restaurant serves authentic, home cooked Venezuelan cuisine and the care they put into their dishes really shows! I highly recommend this Pabellon plate with lean shredded beef, black beans, white rice, mini corn arepas and my beloved plantains.💛 Not shown here is their bomb cilantro green sauce that goes well with any of their dishes and my extra side order of, you guessed it, plantains.😋😋

I am such a big fan of easy peasy dinners!! My weekend food prep makes the process go so much more quickly, and when I have some handy dandy easy ingredients on hand it takes our cooking time down to a minimum. When the day has been PACKED full, there's something to be said for getting food out FAST. .
One of the tricks I’ve learned is to cook a few staple items (protein, veggies, starch), and then just add my seasonings of choice. It makes my life SO much easier both in the morning and at night...who can’t use a few extra minutes, right??
Last night’s fare:
- 1 chicken apple sausage - 1.5 cups spiralized zucchini
- 2 or so tbl Trader Joe’s bruschetta topping

As a summer baby and a classic Leo 🦁🔮 I've always struggled with the transition into Autumn.
I tend to continue habits that are meant for the warmer weather so end up feeling low, sluggish and exhausted in the colder months (who's with me 🙋🏻♀️).
So this year I tried changing with the new season and so far I’ve felt so much better!
⋑ I've kept warm with scarves, hats etc. (if you're naturally cold like me, this one’s important for us)
⋑ Breakfast has been warming oats that are easier to digest in cool weather
⋑ And I've switched up my daily energising matcha to a more calming golden milk
These things are only small but it’s often the small changes that make the biggest impact.
Also how beautiful was tonight’s glowy sunset ✨ nature is unreal!

but when it’s this easy and makes things that taste this good, it’s hard not to! I used the gluten free puff pastry (dairy free too) last night to make this cheese, leek and bacon tart! The perfect mid week meal as you simply roll out the sheet and top with @arla.uk
lacto free cream cheese. Then fry off some leeks, bacon and mushrooms and spread over the cheese. Finally top with some grated cheese and bake in the oven for around 25 minutes! It really is that easy ✨

Breakfasts I’ll be having rice flake porridge with fruit 😍. I’m going to make some veggie pizzas using the puff pastry for lunch 🍕. I’ll also have some veggie pasta, tuna sandwich and jacket potatoes 🥔 . For dinners we are having baked salmon & veggies, pasta bake, fish cakes, chilli & rice 🍛. I also got some bits for baking and some snacks such as @peckishsnacksuk

Accidentally went and got the yummiest pancake today from @doubledutchpancakehouse
😍. I chose the salted caramel and banana one with some squirty cream 🍌. They give white chocolate mice to everyone but they aren’t gluten free so we get a strawberry with chocolate button ears which is so cute 🍓🐭. The pancake was so light and yummy and the toppings went so well! What a way to get one of your five a day 😏. I seriously can’t go to York without going here! All coeliac safe too 🙌🏻.
