I knew this year was going to be the year of CHANGE for me. I never thought it would come in blessings of all shapes and sizes. Gosh, I’m so proud of me 😭 but I’m also so ready to finish the year out strong. So today, I’m looking back at my vision board and buckling down to continue accomplishing my goals 👊🏼 •

I cut today’s run short, because I’ve got a lunch date with some of the cutest girls to watch some football! 🏈
I will not deny, school has been super overwhelming and exhausting! I knew it would be challenging but wasn’t prepared to be a student again for the 5th time at 31 years old. .
If a student is having a hard time, please don’t brush them off. Being a student is a lot of giving and you do not get a lot in return. I doubt many adults would want to be a full time student again. It may be an exciting time of learning but it is exhausting! .
Students, take time for yourselves and still find a way to have fun while in the stress of it all! Take care of your well being and don’t over do it trying to be perfect! I know I’ve struggled with that. .
I went to yoga this morning to relieve some stress and the instructor said this quote and it stuck with me. I am not sure who it’s by but at this point as a student it’s something I need to remind myself daily... It applies to every aspect of my life right now! .
If you are at a tough or exhausting time in your life know that if you can build the courage to show up, you have the strength to keep going! .

From January to today. I’m proud of every ounce of weight(inches) I’ve lost. I’m no longer ashamed of my body. My insecurities have dwindled down to almost nothing! That’s a HUGE deal for me. I’ve struggled with insecurities since i was a young girl. Even though I’ve made so much progress, I’ve taken time away to focus on working and balancing out my busy schedule, now that everything has calmed down drastically, BIG changes will be coming soon. When the bad days hit you, it is so difficult to move on. The negative thoughts creep in and the self-doubt begins. I feel this often during my workouts when I can't do 10 push ups or another 15 minutes of working hard just seems impossible. I go through the thoughts of I'm not good enough, it's my fault I let myself get this way, things will never change.⠀
Sometimes we just have bad days. We wake up and we are instantly in a funk and we have a day where it feels like everything goes wrong. But it's just one bad day. It's not a lifetime of only bad days. It's just one bad day.⠀
Take the deep breath if you're struggling today. Name 1-2 things that went well and your mindset can start to shift. Remind yourself that you can do 5 push-ups instead of 0 during your workout. You've got this!
