I got up today and took my flag outside and took this image of it. I really do love this country but lately I feel we are in a war with ourselves over politics. I'm 68 and I have seen many presidents come and go; some of which to me didn't really get a lot done. And others I never really cared for, one in fact was my boss when I was in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. I would have died for my country and for him as my top commander.
But now, we have a president that either you love and respect for his job profeciency, or hate with the most vile disrespect towards a president I have ever seen in my lifetime. IMO you don't have to respect the man, but as Americans we all should respect the office but that's not happening. In fact, we are in a proxy war that could easily get out of hand quickly and the results would be blood in the streets not unlike a very real civil war.
So, I put my flag out in hopes we find some common peace at some point. If not, I worry if that flag will be carried into a new civil war that will have no good turnout or results whatsoever. #godblessamerica #politicalhatredsucks #standtogetherorprepareforwar #respectourpresident #respecttheflag
