For the last 9 months I stopped doing the things I loved most because I did not feel good and needed to take care of myself for the baby. Those things were writing, outdoor adventures, chasing down the sunsets, studying music, photography, spending hours at the library/bookstores, and playing around with the art of food.
Although I went to school to become a Chef, I have always been a multi passionate person and strong believer that we are meant to do many things in our lifetime not just one. It took 4 weeks PP, half way dead on my couch clinging for some sort of sleep and reading my emails to finally get my spark back.
She may not know it yet, but my goal was to have a book published by the end of the year, and @jenniferblanchardwrites
is going to help me get there. She’s going to get me there because she is not a dreamer but a go getter. She has success, great advice, and is a positive encouragement for people to get out there and do something. These were the last 5 emails that popped up for me from her daily email list. “The one thing holding you back”
“The realization just hit me” “ The toxic advice given to multi passionate people” “Kick your excuses to the curb”
“My Non-negotiable daily practice”
These are Things I ask myself all the time. Now finding time to get out and do these things right now while juggling a newborn are going to be quite a challenge, but certainly not impossible. I think that Jen has done a remarkable job drilling that into people’s heads, that anything is possible if you can just commit to doing the work. Jen, I need to finally get something published this year. Keep up the great inspiration, this will be the year.
And for you Entrepreneurs, Writers, Readers, and Go-Getters out there, give her website/books a good look! They are worth your time! #writer #writersofIG #photography #newmom #momlife #gogetter #write #life #nature #blogger #coffee
