My packed keto lunch. I’ve brought the kids to Legoland so rather than being tempted with carb food I made a ham, avocado salad with herb mayo.

This morning we're whipping up some pancakes. My daughters fav.
We use #speltflour
for everything. It's an #ancientgrain
that doesn't cause her to rash up like other #grains
🌱🌱 Add a yummy egg from our chooks, some #berries
I've used frozen #certifiedorganic #blueberries
this morning some #almondmilk
pinch of bicarb and squeezes of our lemon fresh from the tree.
🍋🍋 These are so simple yet full of nutrition. We top with the #goodfats
not margarine - nothing refined. Sometimes we brew up a berry blend in the pot and drizzle over with honey or maple syrup. There's so many options.

tip is mashing up my avocados before they go bad and putting them into ice cube trays to use in smoothies! They make your smoothies super creamy, help you save money and help you save time when you are making smoothies in a rush! I got my heart shaped ice cube trays at @ikeausa
for 99 cents and they are great.
I’m trying so hard to incorporate healthier things into my diet, including apple cider vinegar. I have a million sinus problems even after having sinus surgery. #acv
is supposed to be a sinus powerhouse (among other things), so I figured I’d give it a try!
I like to mix mine with @lakantosweetener
monk fruit sweetener and seltzer water - it’s like a soda! (Disclaimer: it is NOTHING like a soda. I am lying to you. It’s VINEGAR.) Do you drink ACV? What benefits have you seen?
Cheese crisps in oven: arrange slices on parchment, bake 400’ for 10 min 😋

Plus, there are definitely healthy ways to satisfy your sweet tooth like kombucha, fruit and dark chocolate! I like to call kombucha the healthy man’s soda pop 😸

, convenience trumps everything when it comes to eating...which means that healthy options aren’t always there.
Ive always been into different bars but have put them on the back burner in the last year or so mostly because of the ingredients in most bars, the fact that I eat moderate protein, and because I realize I don’t always NEED a snack. if I’ve been eating properly, meals SHOULD hold me over until the next.

in Cranston RI had these bad Larry’s! I didn’t want to buy a whole box just to try them so I grabbed one of each flavor. So far so good!

I need to correct myself - we DO need SOME free radicals circulating, but when we produce an excess in metabolism, that is when problems can occur.
Our bodies can cope very well to free radicals, but in excess they can become overwhelming, that was the point of this video
When we talk about aging process, many researchers look at our mitochondria getting older, and the damage that accumulates from the free radicals and reactive oxygen species associated with mitochondria and metabolism.
Using fats, good fat as fuel has been shown to Release far less free radical emissions and therefore is quite efficient
Today I am using exclusively avocado, almonds, cashews as my fuel.
