“True reality exists, it is there clouded somewhere in our own perception
Certain times we can catches glimpses of it if only for a second
Most times it is lost to us completely, entirely
But when we do glimpse it for a second, it gives us hope
Gives us hope: that one day we may understand it, fathom it, see the world as it is, for what it truly is at its deepest form
And not for the fabrications that we see it for.. that it appears to be
One day we may see things clearly, entirely and always
For what they are and always were
And on that day we will be free
And on that day we may no longer have to wonder”
Truth is that there’s no perfect solution or magic trick or secret to: how to get in great shape or how to build a successful business or how to achieve x impossible or really difficult thing... if you can just do certain things habitually for many years, you’ll eventually sort of get there (as long as you’re getting just a tiny bit better each day, day in and day out, over time)... that’s perhaps the only true way. It was year 3 or 4 before I “made it” and people really started noticing my lifts in the gym. And even then, you’ve never really truly made it and there’s always much further and a higher level to always train hard to try and work up to.😎💪💵😜
Every hero has one or more fatal flaw(s): a natural tendency that could kill them or hurt them or lead them astray.
In some ways we are dynamic and throughout the course of our life will continue to change and develop as people ... but in other ways: our natural strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, and inclinations will tend towards remaining the same and never changing.
Your strengths remain the same and your fatal flaws and characteristic inclinations, towards weakness or bad of some kind remain the same sort of form as well.
What is that for you?
For many it is chronic pride (hubris as they would call it at the times of the Greeks)... and overconfidence that can destroy them.
For me and others it was often chronic laziness, excess comfort, overindulgence in fun, comfort, stability and sloth that could be crippling and endless if not careful.
The more you recognize your own tendencies, the more you can work to combat them or prevent yourself falling into them or towards them.
And you can either strengthen them yourself ... or you can work with other people whose strengths and abilities complement those natural weaknesses of yours🧐🧠👌
