Coach Liz is our mindset and mindfulness guru! What does she have to say about approaching this holiday season!?!🎄Check it out! •
What is one thing you will choose to focus on this holiday season? I'm choosing to be grateful. 🤗
Gratitude is a habit that takes time to develop. I try to take a few minutes each day to be grateful for all of the things in my life. For the month of November, I have kept a gratitude journal each day.📖 I plan to keep it up through December. It helps keep me centered and focuses my thoughts on what I DO have. What does this have to do with our nutrition? 🍜
Everything!! When we're grateful for our small wins and appreciate the things our body and food can do for us - it helps to encourage us to build on those positive thoughts.
Try it! Your thoughts (what you choose to focus on) will drive your feelings which will drive your actions which will drive your results!!
💥💥Please tell us below what you're choosing to focus on this holiday season!!💥💥

Gratitude Day 10
Today I give thanks for time and for my clear headspace. I worked on this piece for almost 4 hours today. It's still work in progress, but I should be done in 2 or so more sittings.
I know everyone, including me, writes often about gratitude and how important it is ... However, it TRULY is EVERYTHING!! This morning when I was taking my daughter to school, I was backing out of the driveway as normal ... it is dark, all windows clear of frost, yet as slow as I was backing out - I almost hit my neighbor's car parked on the street. I didn't see it AT ALL.
Talk about gratitude!!! I saw it just in time 😳 thank you, GOD!!! 🙌
And just being in that "state" of gratitude, my morning has been amazing. Connections with clients, meeting friends while doing errands ... I feel so blessed, which OF COURSE, puts me in THE BEST mood!! There is always something to be grateful for 🤲ALWAYS!!
Morning walk, full of peace 🙏🏻🌊🌊
Time away from social media seems to be what I need lately because without even realizing it, I’ve spent the last two weekends taking a break.
The old me would have felt SO much around being absent.
The new me is feeling thankful for the ability to be present.
Friday, Michael came with me to see a potential new space for a client. We had to use our imagination but I’m SO excited for where things are going for her, and blessed to be a part of her journey. Michael and I worked Saturday morning, did some Christmas shopping for a family in need, and then CELEBRATED by enjoying the best dinner we’ve had in Denver at our new favorite restaurant. Then we drove around, listening to Christmas music looking at lights (my favorite part of the whole weekend)! Then we came home, played one of my favorite board games and watched The Grinch! Yesterday, I met with new clients and then took some time for self care - hello new lashes and Christmas nails!
The last two weekends have reminded me that there’s SO much LIFE to be LIVED from outside a screen. My challenge to you is to take sometime this week for yourself. Put the phone down, and connect with the PEOPLE in your life! I can almost guarantee it will be the refresher you need! 🖤

This coming Saturday I have the honor of being the guest speaker at the Delaware Success Training Seminar. I personally fear public speaking, in fact, I’ve let fear rule my life for over 30 years...and what I’ve found is, fear keeps people from their happiness. It’s definitely kept me from mine. Every day I take a small step in the direction of stepping past fear and into my own greatness...most importantly I want others to do the same. I’d love to have you come listen in and from my story, I pray, that you may also decide to push past your own fears... #grateful #healthandwellness #growingandlearningtogether #gratitudealways #mindset
The cosiest Christmas candle set up.
It’s been a lovely chilled out weekend. Today is actually my birthday and I’ve been very much spoilt by my family and friends.
Now I’m cosied up in my new Harry Potter pjs having some suppler before my last week of work for 2018.
I’ve had an amazing year and I’m so excited for what next year will bring. I sense change and some new projects. ✨Love and light to you all ✨
I cried in the gym this week.
Yup, full on lost it. Because I didn't want to be there. Because I wanted to be in bed instead. I just about left, actually (and would have if Landon wasn't there working out too).
I've been there before, and so I knew exactly what was going on. I was burning out. I was going down a dark path again. I was losing sight of the important habits I had put in place over the last 8 months that got me OUT of that dark hole I was in before. I just stopped doing them, for no good reason other than "ah I feel good, I'll skip it today"
Sting a bunch of "ahh I'm alright...I have a tonne of emails to get to I have no time" day's together and you get a sobbing mess in a public gym.
Wow...talk about a wake-up call. I sat on a bench for the rest of my "workout" and made a list of everything I needed to start doing again in order to get my happy back. Here's what I realized I had been skipping for weeks and what I re-committed to getting back to:
🥑Morning green juice
🥕Veggies at every meal
🥩Higher quality proteins
😴Prioritizing sleep quality
⌚Establishing firm shut-down times
📑Start-up and shut-down routines
👫Connecting with Landon daily (for working 12 hour days with a wall between us you'd be surprised how often we go all day without talking or seeing each other)
💛Daily gratitude's and intentions
💥Ruthless productivity and sticking to my time-blocked schedule
⚡Planning my top 3 tasks for the next day the night before
🥳Celebrating daily wins
How do YOU know when you're reaching your limit? Do you have a tell? My tell is emotional breakdowns apparently.
Other places I've cried...the Costco bread aisle, in the car MANY TIMES, in my office in the middle of a stress overload, in Walmart, in Superstore, watching commercials, when I dropped eggs on the floor, you know all the usual places.
Tell me, WHICH OF THE STRATEGIES THAT I USE TO KEEP MY MIND RIGHT ARE YOU GOING TO COMMIT TO TRYING THIS WEEK???👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
Sunday... Is it your down day? Your day to relax? Or do you not get the chance and are taxi-ing kids to activities or working at your job? No matter what your situation, take a minute today to take a step back. Look at all the beautiful things you have. ❤️
Want to show you all my appreciation. I am still pinching myself that there are so many beautiful humans that support my social and blog. I have some amazing things in store for you in 2019. XOXO 🐺💜
The backpack love affair continues @unlearn_afrika
.Quick 5km walk then home time. Another glorious weekend. I now have multiple shades of black due to serious sunburn on my arms (long sleeves it shall always be from now on 😢). But the aloe gel is easing the burn. Aloe is a real miracle plant. Well done to the #SunlightZA
team for recognizing that and adding it to the new Sunlight EXTRA formulations. #InspiredByNature #GratitudeAlways
Watching the rain-drops fall, hearing them pelting the roof, trees swaying in the soft breeze and the last rays of the sun seeming not too pleased about having to give way to the moon to light up the sky.... Pure bliss. #GratitudeAlways #TakeNothing4Granted
Gratitude Day 9
I had been doing yoga for months and was looking for another exciting workout routine to compliment my yoga when I stumbled upon this dope 30 day workout routine by @crossropejumpropes
I'm so glad I did because I can already see positive changes on my body.Today is an active rest day and that means I'm supposed to go for a 45min brisk walk thus the ☝video.
So today I give thanks 🙏 to the Crossrope HQ team for taking time to compile an awesome set of jump rope workout routines that leave me feeling high on endorphins all day 😉.
Nature, nature and... nature 🍃🏔🌊 Gratitude. Always 🙏🏼
I got too much love not to share it !!! Love sharing it with this handsome man 👨 ❤️
A year ago Xander was still in my belly... is not something I’ll be able to say for much longer. Feeling lots of things as we approach Xander’s first birthday. And remembering what a special time it was to be pregnant with X. 💛💛
Gratitude Day 8
Unlike last weekend where I could not get my lazy a** to do anything other than binge watch my favourite series 🙊🙈 This weekend I've been a busy lass.
I'm about to finish working on this website and I can't wait to finish it this weekend 🤗. The future owner of this site has been very patient and for that I'm grateful.
50 shades of green and blue 🍀🔵 Gratitude. Always 🙏🏼
In nature, inspiration is found. There are so many ways to wisdom and to the heart, this is just one. I do it to experience the wonders of nature, creation and balance. I do it to reconnect with myself. To scare and humble myself because Mother Nature is infinitely greater. To leave myself in awe of me. To walk. Truly walk. At times rough. At times tough, testing, scary and challenging. But also at times easy, sublime and arrestingly pleasurable. The city is noisy, so I clear my head, empty my heart and fill my cup this way.
