The path you take in life won’t always be easy terrain. You’ve got to make it past the fog, overcome the fallen trees, and come out stronger in the end.

Looking for a perfect 80 mile loop to test and push yourself a bit? Well I’ve got a great hike for you! Check out my newest video of one of the best loops in the Great Smoky Mountains NP. Im calling this hike the Plug-it-in Circuit in honor of my good friend @plugitinhikes
, the current record holder of the fastest person to hike all the miles in the Smokies.
We battled lots of rain from hurricane Michael but that didn’t stop us from enjoying this incredible place. Video link in my bio. ✌️
I’m so excited to be headed back out east on November 2nd & 3rd to @peacefulsmokies
to shoot the @grainsandgritsfest.
It’s an awesome festival celebrating southern food and whiskey. You should seriously consider coming down for this as there’s really no way of regretting it.
This was a shot from a trip last year into the mountains with Ethan of @ourtrailingthought.
A good gent and one trip to remember.

Rest day in my current program gave me an excuse to try out one of our newest ones. A little late posting it, because I slept in and never set the alarm clock ⏰....not mad at all about that! .
Ready for this soggy and cold Saturday. No ballgames, so trying to take advantage of a “free” Saturday. Life with boys 💙💙
And we wakeup one morning and suddenly it does seem very much like fall. Some leaves begin to turn vibrant shades of orange and yellow, but for the most part the trees are as green and vibrant as they have been. The skies are just as bright and as blue as they have been. But something is noticeably different. Suddenly there's a crispness in the air; a cool gentle breeze that gently causes trees to sway and leaves to fall.
We longingly anticipate the beauty that the season brings, the vivid colors, the aromatic smells and and flavors. We nostalgically look forward to picking apples or selecting the perfect pumpkin. We long for the first fire, the first frost, the first home made apple pie and all those other wonderful cool weather meals. We long for cool rainy days beneath blankets watching movies and reading books.
