Ever ruin a perfectly good cup of coffee with a flavored creamer? I take this risk every 6 months or so. I think, "this one sounds good, maybe it won't be so bad." And then I put it in my coffee, took a drink, and thought, "nope." Today it was frosted sugar cookie. And it tastes just like the rest of the flavored creamers... Like sugary liquid plastic. *Sidebar
I took a picture of the coffee inside my cup to show the creamer first hand ruining my coffee. But somehow, it seemed to make a heart shape in my coffee. It may be an apology or something. I don't know. I'm having trouble hating it now. I mean, what is that?! I used to like flavored creamers. Particularly the French vanilla one. In the office I worked in 10/12 years ago, they would always keep French vanilla and hazelnut creamers in the fridge. The hazelnut one was always disgusting (hazelnut flavoring belongs in the garbage unless it is in #nutella
and that is only ok because chocolate). One day I came to work, poured a cup of coffee like usual, added the French vanilla creamer, took a sip, and spit it right back into my cup and them poured it into the sink. And that was the end of my flavored coffee creamer drinking. Just like that. Unexpected hatred in one sip one morning. Since then, I keep thinking I should give it a try and I regret it every time. I should stop. I should.
