• // 💬 ‘Starting the method 15 weeks ago has been one of the best things I've done for myself. It has been quite a slow process for me, in the beginning i saw little changes, then I didn’t see changes for a good month and my weight fluctuated up and down. But, I hung in there (through tears, frustration and wanting to give up) and trusted my amazing coach Paige, who has been so encouraging and supportive and now the process is starting to pay off! I’m drinking 3L of water everyday, my fitness at Crossfit has improved and I’m making better decisions about my nutrition. What I love about the method is that it is specific to me. I’ve tried countless diets and challenges but nothing worked for me and I was always bloated and feeling uncomfortable. Finally, I have found what I was looking for, something that
works, not a diet but a lifestyle change suited to me! Looking forward to what the next few months brings!’

I have had an annoying cough for a while, so I diligently got myself to the drs to make sure I'm not dying, they suspect asthma and they want me to take a steroid inhaler for 30 days. I say no thanks. Instead I'm doing 30 days of cutting out foods likely to be the source of that inflammation (grains, refined sugars, pulses, dairy, nothing out of a packet) to start to get to the bottom of it. Today I have begun.
Who wants a guilt free treat? 👀

Creating new Good Mood Treats is like playing a game that you love to play over n over #jenga
In the Good Mood Kitchens creativity is what helps us enjoy it more, being able to play about with FOOD and its flavours, even the use of the FOOD colours. .
One of the many reasons the passion shines through the Good Mood Team is the motivation knowing that the FOOD you use is HELPING people. Helping them in a way that the ingredients we use benefit health, energy and NOT add to all the other UNHEALTHY artificial FOOD that on the shelves. Please #EatWell 💚
Current situation. Truthful Tuesday Post. So I’ve had about ten days off from training due to my scheduled rest days plus as a result of my car crash. What resulted was me over eating. I ate my #mealprep food but then also this past week I’ve had pizza, burger, cake, ice cream, chocolate, biscuits, fries 🙊 as a result I know I’ve gained weight. I haven’t stepped on the scales but I can just tell by how I look right now. My calorie consumption went up instead of down as I was burning less energy. So yeah I’ve definitely gained a bit of fat, maybe a pound or two. My maintenance calories are 2000 and I overate lol. However i enjoyed being more relaxed around food and allowing those indulgences, but it’s not what I want to do all the time. So it was back in the gym to try out my first #legday since the accident. I’ve refocused my mindset. And although I’m not stepping on stage soon I do want to maintain a strong, fit, healthy physique. So over the next week or so I’m upping my caloric expenditure whilst sticking to my nutrition plan and having occasional treat lol but not every day 😂 eating calorie dense food might taste great but overall it leaves me feeling bloated and uncomfortable 😣 Oh and that last pic is a lb of fat compared to a lb of muscle. Fat takes up a lot of space. #figureathlete#offseason#truth#truthfultuesday#honest#keepitreal#imonlyhuman#realtalk#guiltfree#cheatweek#fatchunk#curvy#softer#fluffy#softlines PS there was no guilt as I ate all food off plan. I enjoyed it 😂 but it’s not sustainable. I’m wanting to keep it real. Tell it like it is. I think being honest helps people more than #fakingit too many accounts are throwing up fake #lifestyles let’s keep it real people. ✌🏽
