I’m finalizing some fingerings for my Carcassi Edition. The process can be tricky because I want to choose fingerings that ultimately work to improve a player’s technique and be true to the music, to its flow and phrasing. Once fingerings have been chosen I do ask some of my students to try it and other players as well. There are SO many fingering options to choose from and I don’t believe there is one correct way. But the good fingering choices do share a similar quality in that they are informed by the biomechanics of both hands, and therefore contribute to the development of one’s technique. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this version Carcassi’s Study No.1! #carcassiproject #tariqharb #guitaristsofinstagram #study1 #op60 #workinprogress #classicalguitar #classicalguitarist #loveforperformance #carcassiedition #new #somuchfun
“This is where you left who I was
Took everything I hoped to be
Simply beautiful how I've become material sunken to the depths of monotony”
Just got some Keepers Brew promo shots back from Scott Chalmers Photography.
Here’s a few examples. Great pics as always, although I look constantly moody!
If you need any band/musician promo shots get in touch with Scott, he’s awesome.
