Sunday night has became controversial movie night because I am pissed off that tomorrow is Monday again. Last week was A Serbian Film. This week the violent Nick Palumbo 2004 horror Murder Set Pieces. A story of photographer who loves to torture prostitutes to death in Vegas. The film was heavily cut by over 20 minutes to get an R rating in America. And was banned outright by the BBFC over here due to its sexual violence and remains banned to this day. Which is annoying as fuck! The film stars Sven Garrett as the German murderer. And Jade Risser. And features cameos by Gunner Hansen (Leatherface) Tony Todd (Candyman) Edwin Neal (the hitchhiker in the original TCM) and Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever) featuring several torture scenes with various weapons, children being murdered, buckets of blood, extreme gore, explicit sex, Nazi flags and footage of 9/11, this is a no holds barred torture porn that tries to disturb and offend as many people as possible. But I'm not the biggest fan. Hostel and Saw are much better tbh. I still enjoy this one, it's just the only thing it has going for it is the gore and violence. There's no story and hardly any character development. It was just made for shock value. But still, it is quite fun. Imo the most disturbing scene is the scene with the baby. That baby was really terrified and upset because obviously babies don't understand it's fake and only a movie. But yeah it's worth a watch if you're a fan of violent horror films. Avoid the R rated version. There's nothing left in it, it was fucking butchered! And remember, it's only a movie!
