Hiking challenge starts now! (Well yesterday really☺️.) It’s been awhile since I’ve done a kym-challenge, and it feels over due!
The last challenge I did was about patience and that was awhile ago, like summer 2017?
And the FIRST challenge I ever did was Fall 2015; it was a hiking challenge.
So I started 3 years ago with this challenge thing.. wow thats perspective. And I haven’t kept the practice up enough... “enough” being to my own interest and standards.
I also have a ritual of doing a hiking challenge in the Fall with a specific purpose to get as much time in outside as I can to ramp up before Winter sets in.
So here’s to starting one now (and not waiting til “tomorrow” or a better time or all those excuses which I’ve had come up.) To clarify, when I say challenge, I challenge myself. This is no group thing or official thing , it’s my thing. Challenges are my thing. I do them in 30 day increments for symbolic reasons, I make my own rules, then I stick to them, obsessively. And I share here with you.
There WILL be an intermission in the midst of it which will make it technically longer than 30 days and I’ll explain the whole thing later, because I’m verbose and detailed like that 🤪 but for now I just wanted to share it officially .
