Video 1 - Getting clients from classes
I dislike it when PTs say they can't pick up clients from classes, problem number one is they arrive on the dot when they should arrive at least five minutes early to get to know people to build that know like and trust, because if people like you and trust you, that's when they're going to buy Personal Training from you, during the class when you're there barking orders you're not going to achieve that. .
The second biggest problem is that we leave as soon as a class is finished, when really we should be hanging around afterwards because that's when people are going to ask questions that they didn't get a chance to ask earlier perhaps, the other thing is that's when we get our pat on the back, who doesn't need that confidence boost, that reassurance to know you've just done a good class, and having displayed your skills, demonstrated the value, people are primed to buy Personal Training, lets not miss that opportunity.
Video 2 - How do your classes leave people feeling?
So at the end of the class we've got our pat on the back, great, but do not underestimate the hard work that they've just put in for you, thank them for it, give them a pat on the back because they need it just as much as we do, people won't remember the class once it's done but what they will remember is how you left them feeling, leave them feeling motivated, leave them feeling like they want to come back, leave them feeling like they want to be around you more.

This week has been tough I’ve really been struggling to get out of bed and so have the boys. We really need the summer holidays to hurry up.
I can’t stress how much I wanted to cancel the gym this morning. But I had to take the boys to school and nursery and I knew if I did I’d kick myself and I’d regret it later on so I just got on with it and headed down to @davidlloyd_eastbourne
where I started my morning with a group cycling class. Omg the lovely lady that has recently taken over the group cycling class now has the nickname smiling assassin because she is so nice and smily but she is killing you at the same time I LOVE IT.
Then I went on to blaze and seriously as if my legs weren’t ruined enough it was dynamic treadmill with more burpees than I could ever care for but again I LOVED IT. The perfect start to my busy weekend and for sure I’ve earned myself pizza tonight. But I didn’t stop there I felt great after the gym so I drove home dropped the car off and went for a run. Yep I didn’t want to do any exercise this morning but you know what I bloody felt amazing 😉 once I was doing it I couldn’t stop and only did because I had to get my gorgeous boy. HAPPY FRIDAY IG I really hope your day has been as great as mine.
I’m really looking forward to tonight’s PIZZA it’s definitely been well earned 😜

Scanning the book shelves of this hotel in Malta, and to my delight I have found this wonder of a book!
Jane Fonder’s Workout Book was published in U.K. over 35 years ago in 1982, it has that old book smell that my mum’s cookery books have, and all of the photos are in black and white!
I have absolutely loved flicking through this this evening, have enjoyed learning about her fitness journey, starting off practising ballet in her early 20s, and then reading through all of her exercises, so many of which we did on our Pilates retreat last week!
