“If we want to feel our best, we have to start treating ourselves the BEST”
I don’t know how it is for guys, but for most of us girls looking in the mirror is a struggle almost every day. Not that we don’t sometimes like what we see, but we can always find the flaws... sometimes it’s weird things that only we see 🤭 at least we’re creative while at the same time very, very hard on ourselves.
So, what I do is this: I thank the body part for doing it’s job. ☝🏼 If I’m thinking “I hate my arms, they’re the worst thing” I try to switch to “Thank u arms for lifting stuff and moving and hugging etc, even if I haven’t always taken the best care of you.”
That’s it, before berating yourself, think about all the good stuff first. Maybe you’re having a good hair day. Maybe your bicep decided to show up that day. Maybe you want to thank your whole body for being there for u every single day!
Next time you look in the mirror remember you are made up of only good stuff. So work it. 💃🏻
