Happy Transformation Tuesday Fitfam 💪🏻 Insecurities, something we all deal with. Some of us are open about these, while others keep them locked up tightly in the hope that no one else notices them. I fall somewhere in between, but I've decided that in order to keep it real I need to be more open about what goes through my head on a day to day basis. 💪🏻 I'm so proud of my current transformation. My confidence level had improved so much and I'm so much happier with the girl staring back at me in the mirror. Does that mean I have conquered all of my insecurities? Hell, No! This comparison picture is the perfect example of this. I love my gymshark outfits! They are so comfortable and fit like a glove made for my body, which also means they show every little imperfection! I have only wore this outfit twice. Why? Because although I love the outfit, I battle within myself everytime I put it on. I struggle with how fitted it is and how much of my tummy it shows. Now I love a good loose crop top, but to workout in just this gymshark fitted crop top isn't something I feel comfortable with. Why? Because I'm insecure! I worry what others are going to think when I take my jacket off and see all of my imperfections hanging out. I worry that others will think, that girl needs to put some clothes on, she isn't small enough to wear something like that. 💪🏻 So basically at the end of day, I'm worried about what others are going to think, which fuels my own negative thoughts about how I look! Is this something I'm still working on? Absolutely!! I shouldn't care what others are thinking when I'm working out for a few reasons... 1) I'm working my ass off to meet and accomplish my goals, 2) seeing my imperfections fuel my drive, 3) I'm a badass woman who doesn't need approval from anyone but myself. You can't erase all of your insecurities and negative thoughts with a snap of the finger. It takes time and hard work. With that said, next time I put this outfit on, I will not be hiding my body. So if you attend the same gym as me and don't like it... then don't look at it. I'm going to do me no matter what you may be thinking!

First day back in the gym in about a year and it feels amazing! Ola did great in daycare, she only cried when we left😅. I worked out 2 hours doing elliptical, planks, kettleball, and even the treadmill. Took a relaxing 7minutes in the massage chair. I already feel a little sore. Cardio has steadily been increasing but it was time to take it to the next level & my macros just got a serious decrease. Carbs lowered drastically and I’m now on a 3:1 carb cycle. It’s time to dig deep and give it my all (apparently I haven’t been doing that already 😋) I’m expecting to be hungry, tired, extremely moody, and about to take my caffeine addiction to the next level -
I have a great team & put my trust in my coaches to guide me to the finish line. Let’s get shredded!

Are you craving the complete opposite?
Proud, Self confidence, Amazed, Able to say “I did it”
Now, are you sitting there thinking to yourself “ Yes, but I’ve tried that and it didn’t work “ Or “Yes, but that’ll never be me“?
If that’s you, I’m here to tell you to QUIT it. Stop saying you can’t do it or I’ve tried but it didn’t work, or it’ll never happen for me because IT CAN and IT WILL.
Believe me, I’ve been there, done that. About 100 times. I know the feeling. I know the doubt. It’s exhausting.
But, it’s not the only answer. Heck, it’s not even a REAL answer - it’s just you. Yes, I’m calling you out - you are the only person DOUBTING yourself. Not putting in the effort. Making excuses.
And that’s OKAY. It’s okay in the sense that you live & you learn. In order to grow, you must fail. The typical - you learn from your mistakes.
But the first step is to OWN up to that. Know that in the past, you’ve failed. But also know and own up to the fact that you didn’t give it your all.
You didn’t stay consistent at the gym. You didn’t do your best to eat right. You restricted yourself which led to over eating and more cheat days than you would have liked. So you gave up.
Don’t think reaching out for advise and/or help on your journey to be the BEST version of yourself is a sign of weakness. It’s the complete opposite.
This is why I love the whole fitness/health/heathy happy mindset vibe that I put out. This is why I’m so excited to coach in the near future (🤔🤗). I know your struggles & your doubt but I also know deep down you have the willingness & power to completely OWN yourself & get that killer body, that killer mindset that you can & will achieve it all.

Combat class this morning had me breakin’ a sweat! 🥊 Had some challenging new moves that I definitely had to fight my way through, but I got it done.
Not sure why, but I’ve had the hardest time making my 9:30am classes lately. Ever since daylight savings, my body has been fighting me if I try to wake up any time before 9am, no matter how early I went to bed. But it’s going to have to get over that bc I start my new job next Monday 😅 I’m not sure when I’ll workout once I start the new job. It’s going to be either 5am, 5:45am, or 5pm or later. I’ve NEVER been a morning person, so we’ll see if I can make that work... I definitely prefer spending time with my bf after we both get off work, rather than leaving for the gym right as he gets home. Idk, but I think that’s all my ranting for the day, thanks for listening 😂 Off to try to find some new gym shoes!
