I’m very low maintenance. I rarely get my nails done. I wear workout clothes whenever I can. I have no problem leaving the house without make-up. And I like to have the easiest haircut possible!
But this summer I have been to the hair stylist EVERY MONTH to fix the damage of a previous stylist. 😩😩 I was trying to be all fun and got highlights in May and the girl WAY over-processed them. Like so bad that within a week I was noticing severe breakage, coming off in chunks by my ear, the ends of my hair felt like straw.
So now, 3 months later, my new stylist is working her magic and I can finally get color again, to fix the old color, without it falling out.
And while it sucked not being able to do much with my hair this summer since blow drying and flat-ironing would have caused more damage (and honestly when I did use my flat iron it literally made it smell like my hair was burning), I’m glad it wasn’t during the school year when I like to look a little more presentable!
Anyone else have a hair horror story you want to share?
